NYK trade:
Jerome James (crap contract)
Stephon Marbury (2 years remaining)

Cleveland trade:
Ira Newble (expirer)
Eric Snow (2 years remaining)
Larry Hughes (3 years remaining)

Cleveland gets a vetran point guard on the same sort of level as Mike Bibby, though I don't think he'd fit in like Bibby would. Still a big talent upgrade.

C: Ilgauskas
PF: Gooden
SF: James
SG: Pavlovic
PG: Marbury

New York gets another "defender" in Hughes.
C: Curry
PF: Randolph
SF: Richardson
SG: Hughes
PG: Crawford

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

the only way to start all over is for Stern to suspend Isiah and take steps to have Dolan removed.

and why the heck would Cleveland want Marbury?

we don't need Snow or Hughes... no reason to take on more salary just to dump Marbury & Turd... just buy them out & that takes care of that... unless CLE was throwing a draft pick our way there's no reason for us to make that deal.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Actually, I think Cleveland would be interested because they currently have no one that create their own offense like Marbury can (other than Lebron). The problem is that the trade does not help us unless Cleveland also sends a first round pick (assuming they even still have their pick). Hughes is a disappoint although he will at least play defense. Snow is washed up but he at least won't turn the ball over every 5th play.

No one wants Marbury anymore- not at this price. He's a headcase, a bad teammate and a player of declining effectiveness. Somoeone will pick him up if we buy him out, but no one is going to take him in a trade unless they dump a contract and get a pick from us.

No one will trade for Marbury. He'd have a hard time playing in Italy.

Steph might be a good fit in Cleveland Atlanta, Miami or LA
