Quentin Richardson suffered a hyperextended right elbow when Miami's Ricky Davis fell on his arm. Richardson missed the final 8:32 of the game, but X-rays were negative. Richardson, who wore a wrap on the elbow, is day-to-day. He said he expects to play tomorrow.

His elbow is day-to-day and his back is year-to-year.

I'd much rather he sat out Tuesday.

Look at him, he's a grocery list.

*Recovering from back surgery - and the subsequent out of shape effect from doing so.
*Ankle injury
*Hyper-Extended shooting elbow.

Do we really need QRich to go out there, be slow from still being overweight an out of shape from lack of conditioning due to the back surgery, be slow and stiff from the ankle tweak and the back surgery, and now brick shots because his elbow is screwed up?

Please, just take a seat, we have enough problems. We don't need half a player on the court. We need a whole player even if he's a rookie in Chandler.

Q should just wrap himself in a body cast and return in 2 months. Right now he is as mobile as a mummy using a walker.

That being said, I'm glad that he is ok.

You guys act as if he is use less out there. With no ZR we need we need help, and he was starting to come around in the last couple of games. Beside it was clearly obvious that IT has a hard time with his roation and match ups when he is short handed.

No. When healthy he is our best two-way player if not our BEST player. The problem is he has never been healthy. Therefore, seeing he is now fighting THREE injury concerns or rehab from - he needs to sit down, take time to get himself back into health and shape, and then be able to impact our games as a fully healthy player!

He, nor anyone else, does us any good being at half strength. It's a pointless endeavor. QRich trying to play against Phoenix, barring some unforseen miracle of strength and will, would be a fruitless endeavor that could just end up jeopardizing any chance we have in that game.

What good is a man who is out of shape and still stiff and slow from back surgery, a man who is slow and stiff from the ankle tweak in preseason, a man who now suffered a hyperextended elbow injury to his shooting arm - to us? A team who need an impact player on top of his game?

He will be a liability much as he has been every game this season.

He just needs to sit, get healthy, then come back in shape and ready to contribute.

Ok so Q's elbow has him day-to-day which means it needs to be amputated. We can't trust this diagnosis.

Q could be fully restored, if he could only get away from the Knicks' medical staff. Just like Penny.

You can run but you can't hide from the NYK medical staff. This could be a blessing in disguise for the Knicks losing Q even for a game or two will maybe make Isiah realize that Balkman needs the run at SF. Only way Balk gets better is if he get continous run.

Except those wacky Knick MDs have had a crack at Balkman too.
