Now the players who provide D on our team would be Q, Balk, Lee, Jones, Jeff(hurt), and Chandler(possibly) yet all of these players with exception to IRich aren't receiving the kind of minutes you'd expect on a team that seems content to allow their biggest weakness to drown the strength.

They need to play their lockdown defender Fred Jones more.

I don't think this is an accurate representation of what most were thinking here. We all know that the team wasn't going to be a defensive juggernaut, but the D has been worse than it was last year and that we didn't expect. Most of the problem has been Steph and Jamal letting guards penetrate at will. It would seem that in Steph's case he's lost another step or 2, cuz he's worse than he was last year.

The other issue is the TO's. We had to bring those numbers down and for the 1st few games we did. The last 2 losses the TO's were out of control. 18 and 20 TO's leads to bad losses and yet we didn't get blown out. It would seem to me that it's simple. Cut the TO's down and make shots and we'll have a chance in most games. Play better perimeter D as well and we're a solid playoff team. So that's Perimeter D, Low TO's and decent shooting from the perimeter.

We have better defenders who can come in and I believe we'll see that change. TO's are a matter of focus and execution. Taking better shots will lead to a higher % and all of these things are doable. Don't be so sure that this team can't make these adjustments.

I don't know, but I caught his rant last week, that was classic. I almost fell out of my chair laughing. Nixluva is definitely the funniest poster on this board.
