KG is the best player in the league and their big 3 is the best big 3. KG was just on an unimaginably bad team for many years.

I think San Antonio and Pheonix could have beef with that.

But I'd agree.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I can't believe how much better he looks than Allen and Paul. He's clearly their best player.

But they don't know what "formidable" means.

From the dumbest commercial ever produced by MSG Network.

The only question is when do they have the good sense to pull it, when the Celtics are 10 games in front of the Knicks, 20 games or they never come to their senses?

Posters on this board had all the doubt in the world with the Celtics and they proceed to 5-0 blowing out teams in the process. That's how shut doubters up you produce and don't make excuses. I wonder how poster actually view this game in general!

I've been watching all of their games and I got to see them live during the preseason, the thing that sticks out to me is their intensity. These are regular season games but they are playing like it is the playoffs. Garnett's intensity must be contagious or something.

Add to that the fact that their 3 stars are all unselfish and its not that big of a surprise that they are 5-0 right now. They really are a fun team to watch.

They are really pushing the medal down hard way to early. No way these guys can survive 82 games playing huge minutes. Huge tactical mistake. They were up 20 and Ray never came out. Their lack of depth will catch up with them.

I don't recall anyone having any doubts.

The last time there was that kind of intensity was back in the 80's with Magic, Worthy & Kareem.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Neither do I. Maybe one or two but I think you are exaggerating a bit.

I can't help but agree. I feel like Doc is using them wayyyy too much.

At the same time, I love watching this team play and they are quickly becoming the only Boston team I will root for. I'm definitely going to some Celtics games this season.

I don't think they're being overworked. They aren't playing too much more than they have their entire careers.

Pierce: This season: 38 minutes/game Career: 37.8 minutes/game. (30 years old)
Difference = + 12 seconds

Garnett: This season: 39 minutes/game Career: 38.3 minutes/game. (31 years old)
Difference = +42 seconds

Allen: This season: 38.8 minutes/game Career: 37.5 minutes/game. (32 years old)
Difference = +1 minute, 18 seconds.

Granted, they are all a year older, but I don't think that calls for massive minute reduction. Plus in their first two blowouts I don't believe any of them played more than three quarters each.

funny how KG is so highly regarded around these parts these days... i remember plenty of posters here saying they wouldn't give up guys like David Lee for him in a trade last year when trade proposals were being discussed... this guy is & has been 1 of the best players in the game for a long, long time.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

They are a great team, but at some point they should cut the minutes of their big three to prepare for the playoffs. The season's a long grind.

San Antonio has Duncan playing 33 minutes and Ginobli playing 30 minutes. They've been there before.
