Isiah did not use the MLE this year and the Knicks are weak at center once Curry goes off the floor. Webber plays the game right, is a Detroit guy, and would definitely fill a role for the Knicks. They would need to waive someone to create a roster spot. This MLE move might actually work out for Isiah.

No. I believe he's another big slow lazy kind of guy. I also think he's peak already.

Is that a ****ing joke?

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

No. Why' do you think his 11 points a game the last two seasons and 60% percent free shooting the last couple years are great? He's about 35 years old now. At least Curry can score more than him. Why is it a joke?
I'll never trust this' team again.

We need a better package. Defense is one thing, but come on guys! 35 years old? It's like the bulls getting Ben. He's burning out. He's not the once dominating foreward anymore. We need someone who is at a reasonable age, a good defender, can score some points, preferrably a clutch shooter and plays to win. Hey' that sounds like kobe! But seriously, why do you want Webber, now?
I'll never trust this' team again.

We gotta stop going after these unproven, old aged guys. We deserve better and the thing about it is, we can actually 'get better players'. But only if someone can have enough patience and smarts to do it.

I think you're wrong. I think we need more old guys, not fewer. Here are some candidates:

I guess I thought uk posters were more global thinkers. Are the Knicks looking to develop someone to replace their 26 year old franchise player? I don't think Webber is a long term solution but when Curry went out tonight they had to bring in Malik. Malik is a gamer but that is ridiculous. In addition to Webber's veteran leadership, he is a good three point shooter. I think signing him is a no brainer if he will come o NY. My guess is that he will look at the roster and decline.

Webber can still do some things ok, but he's more for a team that can swallow his contract that will be most certainly more than 1 year. I just cant see us adding a guy of his age for more than a year, which is what he will want.

I didn't mean to be a dick, but I'm just so bummed out after this loss.

Definitely not. We need interior defense, not a guy who can score inside. Our inside scorers are better than him.

We need a shot-blocker and a perimeter defender. Webber is neither.

The Cavs are a possible destination for Webber...

In the DETROIT FREE PRESS, Brian Windhorst writes, "It has been reported by several media outlets that free-agent forward Chris Webber would only consider his hometown Detroit Pistons. According to a source close to Webber, though, he would also consider signing with the Cavs if the role was right. The Cavs are depleted in the frontcourt with Anderson Varejao holding out and with Donyell Marshall out with injury. The Cavs have also had some contact with free-agent forward Dale Davis, but currently there are no serious discussions, agent Chubby Wells said."

I don't know what else to say. I really thought the knicks where thinking about getting younger. I'd rather make a big pitch for Kobe if that's the case. At least we know he'd be around longer and is basically the best offensive weapon in the league. I gotta teach you guys to think bigger. The money's there, but the decision making for the roster has been pathetic. Think BIG guys! Believe!! We should and can' have the best that the NBA has to offer.
