I figure he'll probably get it in the middle of the 2011 season. He'll probably want to play until he's about 40, so you can probably add another two hundred hits on top of the 3,000. I can't wait. if he has about 3 more years of 200+ hit season, then that yearly average requirement gets bumped down... it's not hard at all to imagine a guy like Jeter who keeps himself in such good shape to get to the 3400 hit plateau as long as he stays healthy.
