Finally we have added a piece like Randolph that has paid dividends the first three games...He looks like a player that can help us...This team has been absolutely miserable the last 7 years or so..We are 2-1 and looking like a team that will be able to compete this coming year...Instead of us coming together talking about the possibilities, we have to get all the negativity from the haters....

Get on board, this train will leave without you....It's early but if these guys play hard, share the ball and add some defense to the mix, they will compete with the best teams in the East..They have the talent to do it...I'm not sure what it will take to woo you guys...Do I really have to listen to lineup scenarios with Bynum as our starting center...ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!

This is far from being a who is a fan and who is not a fan thread...This is about the bitching and moaning that happening here when the Knicks seems to have a few pieces that can get things done...If you gonna respond make sure you read the piece first before you flap ur gums....

Actually Holfresh the thread says.. 'are we NOT Knicks here or not.' hence if you don't think Randolph is a good player you aren't a Knick fan.

Holfresh don't throw all your anger out towards me, I've had nothing but good things to say so far this season, so spare me your soapbox routine.

Your assumptions could not be more off base....

I'M BACK!!! I CAN REMAIN SILENT NO LONGER! Holfresh, brother I totally feel you. It's not about being blind to the real issues with the team, but there just seems to be a general disconnect with some fans when it comes to this roster. As i've said many times, some of us just don't like some of the players or the Coach and they can't get past that and see the postive aspects of the team.

The team is far from perfect, but then few teams are, especially in the East. At this point in the teams development we should be feeling more positive about the fact that we seem to be even more competitive this year. Think about this, we have a nice mix of homegrown players and guys we've brought in via trade and they're all relatively young.

Now think about this. All we really need for this team to do is to continue to work at improving the D and being consistent. It's not an issue of the team being talented enough. It's about 1-9 being fully commited and fully aware of their roles and what it's going to take to win. Now so far it seems that we've seen some good signs of that beginning to happen.

So this begs the question of why there is a need for some to still be on the sidelines bashing or looking for ways to get rid of players on this team? We haven't even seen the best of this team yet IMO. What would we look like if Q was actually playing like his usual self? What happens when we get Mardy and Jared fully healthy, giving us even more depth and versatility? What will Chandler be able to contribute if anything this year? We aren't even using all the talent we have on tap. So why do some want to make it seem like things are still bad for this franchise?

I will add tho that there seems to have been an increase in those of us who are willing to get behind the team and that has led to me feeling good about coming back. There seem to be a very vocal minority that still hasn't bought in. Let's hope that the team shows the needed commitment to doing the right things and perhaps that will lead to more of us getting on board with this team.

This was in response to the other threads that compared the Knicks' progress to the Hawks...Compared Zack's game to other power forwards that who put up numbers but didn't affect the win/loss record of their teams...

My point is that we should be jumping with joy at the fact the Curry has has shown presence on the defensive end...Zack looks like a gamer...Craw looks to be in control of his game...These players might actually make this year interesting...But no, it's the same old pointless hate threads to garner attention...

seriously, do we have to weed through 10 of these threads every week? the so-called lovers bitching & moaning about the so-called haters bitching & moaning about the way the team is constructed, then you get the haters come onto the thread & engage the lovers in yet another senseless & ridiculous argument over who's a fan of this team & who isn't... this is the type of crap that's really ruining the posting experience on this board.
