Washington - Nope. Gil Zero is hurt and they drew Indiana and Boston in their first two games.

Miami - Nope. Wade out, Shaq steadily declining, the trade, games against Indiana and Detroit.

Chicago - Yup. Not a particularly difficult schedule (started off against Philly and Milwaukee) for a team that put up a pretty good fight last year. Maybe trade talk and the contract extension issues with Gordon and Deng have them distracted?

Yeah I just realized I was operating under the assumption the Pacers are above-average competition. They finished 35-47 last year and had that 11 game losing streak. Not sure what to make of them.

Looks like all East is a mess.
Anybody can top anybody... With the exception of Detroit, Boston, NJ, and may be Orlando.
Is it good or bad for the Knicks?

it's only 4 games into the season... let's wait a while before we start projecting teams as disappointments or surprise sleepers.

The Bulls always start off poorly. I wouldn't count on them continuing this trend.

I think Washington will eventually get their act together once Gilbert works through his shooting woes.

Miami I don't even know what to say about them Shaq looks like a total fat bastard out there and other than my boy Ricky Davis there is absolutely no help on that team while Wade sits out. But if Wade does come back and is able to remain relatively healthy for the rest of the season I could see Miami still sneaking into the playoffs.

The east is deep. Indiana is out scoring teams like crazy. The bucks look good too. You can't sleep on anybody. There won't be a dominant team.

Yo, is it possible or has there ever been a season where all 8 playoff teams and may 3 other teams made it to .500 or at least made it between 4-5 games between 1st and 10th?

Since we are middle of the pack generally eyeing the 8th seed at the moment as a possibility I'd say it does not effect us at all.

There appear to be an equal number of surprises on both the good and bad side. An equal number of teams have apparently switched sides around us - equal going worse - equal getting better - so I think it hasn't changed our position, probably being the 8th or 9th best team in the east (until proven otherwise) at all.

White players with big contracts are not always that bad.

That's exactly what it is. They'll be back and like I said, when they meet us, it will probably inspire them to get back above .500.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Didn't Dallas start last year 0-4 or something like that? I remember everyone writing them off and they proceeded to win a million games. It's early, why dost thou over analyze.
I just hope that people will like me

Same reason why people automatically are going rara over our 2-1 record. It's too early in the season to tell how things will go.
