Im seeing a big letdown. If there is one thing that the Knicks have been consistent at its been losing the game after a big win. Right now I doubt we have the leadership in that lockerroom to come out and play with the same fire and intensity that we saw against Denver. I have the Knicks losing big, put putting the obligatory fourth quarter rally in order to make the game seem as if it was competative. Magic 105 Knicks 98.
If they do win tho, that **** would be sweet! Beat the Evil Empire. BEAT MIAMI

this is going to be a hard one for the Knicks.
We showned that we cant guard the 3 and that is what Orlando is strong at, they got Lewis for games like this. Also who is going to stop D12? "I wipe my @ss with your feelings" - Tony Soprano

Posted by CDB:I think a combination of Balkman and Q should hold Rashard under control. I don't expect to shut him down but I think we can control him. If Zach keeps tabs on Turkoglo we wont let them run away with the game early. Also who is going to stop D12?Curry should try and get him into foul trouble early. Watch a lot of game tapes and figure out how to fake Dwight into fouling and we'll have a decent gameplan. They shouldn't try and stop either of those guys. As long as you contest their shots and hold them under control and play Balkman a lot of minutes, we will be able to compete till the end. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

I think we need to do the obvious and start the game off pounding it into Curry to try to get Howard out of the game. After him who do they have? Foyle? That's the first thing we need to focus on.
The second of course is to guard the three point line. We can not be focusing so much on Rashard Lewis that we leave the other players open. I can live with Rashard going off for 30 odd points but I think we'd be doomed if we let Bogans or Hedo or Nelson go off for 30. Guard the scrubs, hope to contain Rashard through 1-1 play by committee. If you check last night's box scores the magic had a very balanced attack. They rebounded like crazy against the Raptors so we have to be on guard for that as well. This game will require smart defense combined with the need to get Dwight out of the game so they have to go small (hedo) or scrub (foyle, gortat, whoever). http://popcornmachine.net/ A must-use tool for NBA stat junkies!

Orlando's perimeter offense is bananas. If we cannot guard the perimeter it might get ugly.

And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

This "Good man" said GOOD when Jamal Crawford got hurt last year.
He hasn't changed. lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Orlando isn't a good team yet. They are a team with good players, enough good players to give us fits. I only see a combination of good defense, smart Knicks offense and the Magic having a bad night as a way to win. Knick lover score: Knicks 105 Magic 101. Realist says Knicks lose this one but I hope not!!
