It was obvious to me that nate is hurt. That type of injury is tough especially on a compact guy with enormous legs like nate. i think that it is almost a necessity to opportunisticly look for another guard around the league that makes sense for us because of our guards injury history and it seems as if we only go 3 deep

It shouldn't take Nate getting hurt to bring in Mardy, IMO.

Nate has that football body though(N/H). It's going to much more of an injury to put him down.

I think we need another player other than Mardy. Another player to look at is Wally Z--he can play 2-3 just in case marbury or crawford get hurt not to mention q rich does not look good.

I want to see what OUR (Collins, Morris, Chandler) players can do. If Nate needs some down time, plug in Collins and Jones. I like Wally Z but we don't need him.

We need the outside shot. Teams are going to start clogging down the lane on us and Collins/Chnadler have no bonafides with their outside shooting credetials. Big time players help teams win--Wally Z is a big time player who would fit in.

I do think that guys like Collins and Chnadler can be incorporated through the year to help on the D, especially when there are injuries. My main concern is two spots PG and outside shooting. I mentioned Delonte West and I would be favorable to that but if you can bring in a *great* player like wally to replace Q--say for malik rose jones and a pick I would do it as well. We need something else--I want to win now and I think IT should look to go for it now if he can.

I like Wally cause he's always wanted to be a Knick. He won't help the D, but I agree we'll need a shooter at some point. Could we shed Fred and Malik? Can't they do better than that? Would we really want to give more? The answers are no, yes and no.

Actually if Nate is hurt we could play Mardy or Fred Jones. Doesnt Jones have a decent outside shot? Jamal and Stephon can handle the point.

Yeah, you know we keep beating down Jones cause he's a replaceable talent and we released a good youngster to keep him. But Fred Jones can play NBA basketball. He can run and press and play some D. This preseason he was hitting the 3 too.
