another analogy:

chaney is to h20 as isiah is to q.

33 mins a game...after back surgery...coming off 2 back injuried seasons...isiah is running q into the ground and it will probably end quentin's career prematurely.

the more things change, the more they stay the same.

I'm in agreement, he's really not giving us a lot right now. It's really a shame because we need his play and leadership. Hopefully we can cut back the minutes and get more production. I still would much rather see the guy getting minutes at the two so that he doesn't take such a physical beating on the defensive end.

The problem is that we're fragile at the sf position. Q, Balk, and Skinny are all beat up. We could play Lee at SF but then we really don't have backups at the F/C positions, unless you think Morris is ready. We're really not as deep up front as some would have it.

I actually forgot Malik, our leader, is still on the team.

I agree, but that's a hole we knew existed before the season started. We really don't have a true three man on this roster besides Chandler, and if he is not ready...........

For us to take a step to the next level we need to fortify the PG and SF position. In the meantime while we are waiting, and not really competing for titles, why not give a guy like Chandler a chance to develop. Or a guy like Lee/Balkman some time to diversify their games, while also saving Q's back. Unfortunaetly we are in a must win situation so these things cannot be done.

perhaps he's trying to clear up playing time for the indispensible Fred Jones in the near future.
