New York - The future doesn't look too bright for either the New York Knicks or the Atlanta Hawks. Both teams have been bogged down with bad contracts, bad luck and bad attitudes. This deal actually make the Knicks worse than they are now. Trading for two players who have never lead their team to the playoffs or have experience in the playoffs is not my idea of an improvement. Only thing this deal does is make sure the Knicks end up back in the lottery and the Hawks make the playoffs. Its such a terrible trade for the KNicks.

KT was really the best player consistently playing Center in the eastern conference all season (Ben Wallace played at PF, Cliff Robinson at Center).

Nazr was a chump. Shareef is unfortunately a tweener, who is talented, but doesn't have the toughness that NY is lacking, and can't play Center like KT.

Replace Nazr Mohammed with Theo Ratliff and add Ward to the mix then I say OK.

We trade Spree, KT and Ward for Rahim and Ratliff.

Hoopsworld is a fan site just like this one. This is posted by some regular Joe like you and me. This means nothing.

I used to read their stuff for fun, until they started trying to charge $$ for it.
