Why Can't we win games by more than 10 points ?

We need injuries to certain players just to see if a smaller active roster can blow teams out knowing they won't have to look over their shoulders if they make one mistake or isiah doesn't want to keep players with big contracts on the sideline too long.

even back to last yr we didn't do it often.


I believe we do need to blow teams out, especially at home against young inexpereienced teams like the wolves .

If Isiah wants to live by his creed of winning at home and having teams fearing to come to the garden, teams like the wolves were prime to get blown out with isiah having the right personel in the beginning of games with the crowd behind them.

We have set the expectation bar so low as fans it's feeling like we are an expansion team or something.

We need to fight to get our identity back.
And we did very little in first 2 games to accomplish this.
But we have another 80 games to come. A lot of opportunities...

We didn't do it very often when this team was good in the 90's. It's not about style.

I remember that and I always knew no matter who the opponent was the Knicks would keep them in the game and sometimes it came back and bit them in the azz.

Our defense in the 90's would put fear into opponents the last few minutes of the game with the crowd yelling DEFENSE DEFENSE , now we are terrorfied in the last few minutes of games begging for a win.

with that fire power at isiah disposal and at the home opener against a kiddie core team we need to dominate.

WE ARE NOT AN ESPANSION TEAM WHY ARE THE EXPECTATIONS SO FREAKIN LOW?

If the team wins 45-50 close games, then I am happy with that. I would however like to feel more confident in the teams ability to win certain games. I would like to be able to look at the calendar and look at certain teams and say that is an automatic win. But the problem with this team, is there are no gimmes, so every night I find myself on the edge of my couch. It's fun when we win, but I would like to see a few blowouts here and there.

Put down the crack pipe playa. Just cuz others don't necessarily abide by your viewpoint don't mean you need to go ALL CAPS ON US!

SURE, WE WOULD ALL LOVE IT if we blew out teams. But historically we aren't that kind of team. We've played down to our competition for YEARS. Get it? Other teams come to MSG with a little extra fire and desire too. Don't totally discountt hat.

It's funny - different guys complain about different things.


Why don't we win by 10 points?

How come Eddy turns the ball over?

How come Isiah didn't call timeout?

How come we don't guard the 3?



There's 1 answer to every question - it's b/c we're so fundamentally flawed, so mismanaged, that basically we suck ass.

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Because they don't play good perimeter defense. Teams always 3 ball themselves back into the game. I'd love them to win convincingly, they just don't know how....once you get an 8 to 10 point lead, you clamp down and extend that lead.
