Half of that list is grossly overpaid.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

the thing with Cassell is I think for a long while, he was underpaid- as often happens, these pro athletes only get 'paid' after their best years are behind them.

Still- I'd rather have cassell over marbury and pay him Marbury's $19mm. We'd be getting better value.

I can't believe we have anyone--let alone two players--in the top 26 on this list. You shouldn't have to pay players that much money just to have a bad team!

Sam Cassell's salary this season is only 6.1 mil. Elton Brand, his teammate is making 15.3. Must be a typo.

Well in fairness to Hinrich, his salary starts higher and then gets lower each subsequent season.

Also, I don't believe he is overpaid. It's very hard to find a quality tough point guard nowadays who understands the concept of team. And he plays defense! Most point guards today are selfish and hold the ball way too long and are always looking for their own shot. Hinrich is smart, unselfish, and a team player.

$11,000,000

$10,000,000

$9,500,000

$9,000,000

$8,000,00

Not overpaid to me!

I should also say that I'd take Hinrich over Arenas any day of the week. Arenas is now the most overrated player in the NBA. He's a poor defensive player, selfish, and a CHUCKER who takes the dumbest shots. Also, he runs his mouth and then tries to do too much which hurts his team. Pass the ball dummy!! Play DEFENSE!! And he always has his worst games against the Knicks. Must be trying to over impress his idol Starbury by taking selfishness to a level Marbury can only dream of.

We're looking at the top 40 salaries to try to find underpaid players? (And ironically, we're even suggesting that some NBA players are underpaid.) This is like going to the Republican National Convention to find Hillary Clinton supporters!

Altleast Isiah has less up there then before. It was usually three or four Knicks in the top ten in salaries now its just Marbury. Don't they have to add Anucha Brown to that list.

When using the word underpaid, we are talking about the going rate of the playeron every team and how much value they are to that specific team.
