I wouldn't really call New Orleans a surprise because last year they were (by many analyst) suppose to make it to the playoffs and they were close at the end of the season.

I'm not ready to prop Atlanta. If they become that good, just give Horford the ROY.

I kinda do think the Cats have a shot at the postseason even though they're still too young and don't have much size.

Portland.... maybe. Gotta see how the Roy/Aldridge combo works.

he is a pansy - but he looks like a different player so far. he's been uber confident and aggressive and being used as a facilitator by o'brien.

I was at the Bobcats game tonight and this a-hole who was sitting in front of us launched his FULL beer right into my cousins lap 3 minutes into the game. Unbelievable! (Was a little funny though) The staff at the arena was nice and gave us some vouchers for free food because my cousins hotdog and fries were floating in a pool of Budweiser. Anyway, the game was great, G-Wallace was very active, Felton actually played well the entire game, Okafor was solid but kept the Bucks in the game with all of his missed free throws. Bobcats 1-0!

philly won't surprise with wins/losses BUT they are really just one scorer away from making serious noise. they have the iverson/lb 2000 team rebuilt...just missing iverson.

that's why i see them going after arenas next summer.

Ok4 was in there up until I think like 20 seconds left when Herrmann checked in. I'm assuming he was yanked because of his poor FT shooting. It was a foul situation and the Bobcats were ahead so there was no need for Ok4 to be on the court. And there was no need for him to be in there with .1 because the Bucks needed a 3 and I don't think you can shoot a 3 with .1 left on the clock.

Atlanta is gonna make tfk get season tickets.

This is there yr, if they don't get destroyed by injuries this yr.

After Devon harris went out with a thigh injury for dallas the game was even.

I think the Nets will win the Eastern conference. I think alot of people are selling them short. They have Jefferson and Krstic back and healthy, and they improved their frontcourt.
I'm tired,I'm tired, I'm so tired right now......Kristaps Porzingis 1/3/18

I think Philly will surprise a lot teams this year. There that team you'll look at their roster and think "easy win". Then they spank your ass.

Atlanta has one of the best guards in the game in Joe Johnson. If the rest of his cast can remain relatively consistent they could also be dangerous.

I love the Bobcats there stacked with talent. From the 1 to the 5.

Eh not anymore, Primoz Brezac is starting at center and Emeka is playing the 4. The problem with the Cats is that they weren't a deep team to begin with, and now they have to find a way to replace Ammo and May. Last night Wallace and Felton played over 40 minutes, J Rich 36, and Ok4 37. Thats too many minutes for those guys because they go all out every game. Herrmann is barely getting any playing time and Carroll only played 19 minutes. IDk what new coach Sam Vincent is thinking, perhaps he just wanted to get the first win under his belt, but he needs to use his bench if he wants this team to last past the all star break.

We'll see how Vincent responds but I would expect a team' starters to be be logging close between 35 to 40 minutes a night. They do have some help on the bench with Anderson (who gave them some solid minutes last year), Carroll, the rookie Dudley and Hermann.

Not picking NBA champions here but I think they could make a decent run at a playoff spot this year.

Jeff McInnis actually played 24 minutes last night which was surprising. I don't know why Herrmann is not starting at PF. That dude was a terror the second half of last season. I do know Vincent is stressing DEFENSE at all times so I guess he feels Emeka is best suited at the 4 with Brezac at center, but Brezac really does suck. (except when he's dunking over Chubby) I'm thinking Vincent really wanted to get this first win at home so he played it like a playoff game and shortened his rotation. Dudley didn't even play.

As for playoffs, like I said, the cuddly little Cats are going to need everyone to contribute if they want to make a playoff run. Ok4 and Wallace always get really banged up as the season goes along and they aren't deep down low. I hope they do make the playoffs because I'd LOVE to go to some games as I have fallen in love with this team. They are a nice diversion from the hell that is Isiah Thomas and the Knicks.

Pacers going for 3 in a row! Up by 9 over Memphis, but they are making a run. Tinsley looks great. If Indy can win, why can't the Knicks?
