I think it finally occured to me last night, WHY I detest Eddy Curry so much.

I mean we all "know" why - he's fat, he doesn't play defense, and that trade...GOD that trade.

But now I can eloquently put it into words :

1.) Style of play should ALMOST always dictate the players, not the other way around.
exceptions? Guys like Big Z, Old Shaq, and Yao. And now - Eddy Curry.

2.) Our team sucks b/c we turn the ball over on offense, and play crap defense.

OK, so in summation - We can't go uptempo b/c Eddy is fat, slow, and has poor stamina; and we can't honestly keep him around for half court b/c he doesn't play a lick of defense.

He's like...

Some sort of mutant. Too fat to play uptempo, too lazy to play slow, but with all the potential in the world...

And that's without even mentioning the cancer that is Zach Randolph and Stephon Marbury.

OR the terrible rotations by Isiah.

OR the terrible signings.

bla bla bla.

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Mutant
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A mutant is an individual, organism, or new genetic character arising or resulting from an instance of mutation, which is a sudden structural change within the DNA of a gene or chromosome of an organism resulting in the creation of a new character or trait not found in the wildtype. In an organism or individual, the new character or trait may or may not be trivial, may occasionally be beneficial, but will usually result in either a genetic disorder or have no phenotypic effect whatsoever. The natural occurrence of genetic mutations is integral to the process of evolution. A more general term for mutant is sport, which includes individuals who vary from type due to mutation, as well as those who vary from type due to other reasons.

Bobs Didn't you just promise not post another thread for the rest of the week?

Is last night's loss upsetting you so much that you are trying to tear it down? Give it a few more games...

oohah

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Guilty as charged.

But hold up, is there such a thing as hijacking a wack thread and transforming it into a place for highly intellectual basketball discourse on the level of Jedi?

Such as

Stating the less-than-obvious to the naked eye:

Are the Knicks developing a team personality, right before our DIS-beleivin' eyes, that can stick to a distinct style regardless of the competition?

Beyond the clutch comeback in the 4th quarter, what REALLY happened last night?

Sorry earl. arkud just re-hijacked your intellectual jedi highjacked thread, and returned it to the realm of the lowbrow.

Come To The Dark Side Luke...

Panos - arkrud can be excused. At least he is moderately (cough) entertaining from time to time.

Excuse me while I whip out my light sabre. The forces of evil in the Knicks universe must be dealt with swiftly and sharply. Howard and Orlando must pay for crimes against the federation.

that was random, but ok?

He's a ballhog who is a mediocre passer.

He doesn't play any defense.

His comments suggest he deems himself a franchise player; which is far, far from true, and dangerous to any team in the long run.

His off-the-court problems equal Ron Artest's.

He's way, way overpaid.

If I had to sum up Zach Randolph, I'd have to say, he's basically Ron Artest without defense.

Yea........it's THAT bad. 17 rebounds or nawt. And those double doubles will stop happening...

Not random at all.... it was pasted from your opening remarks bobs.

You make winning an exciting game depressing and a Knicks fan want to join knixfan on sabbatical.

I await your full-fledged tickertape parade after the Knicks next loss.
