Now, if anybody remembers back when I got drafted, I got a report back that the reason I dropped so far in the draft was that Jim O'Brien of the Celtics said that I was too immature and that I wasn't ready for the NBA. What really happened was that I had an Achilles injury and I went back to L.A. to go get it healed when I was supposed to have a two-day workout in Boston with O'Brien. He didn't like that. So word came back to me that he was trashing me and it put this knife through my chest about the Boston Celtics.

Back in the day when I would day dream I thought that if I could score 100 points against any team it would be the Boston Celtics. Now, I knew it would never happen, but if I could do one thing in the NBA it would be to score 100 against Boston.

So anyway, since everybody is back on the Boston bandwagon it brought back old memories.

So listen here. On November 2nd, we're going to go into that building, we're opening up Boston. Right now I'm telling the Boston fans: You guys are going to lose. It's not going to be a victory for Boston. You might as well just cheer for me, because Boston isn't winning in Boston for the season opener. I'm sorry.

I can root for that. Now I'd rather watch that game tonight than the Knicks game.

Oh man.....and its on ESPN HD (just got HD 2 days ago - no MSG HD yet). If things start to go horribly wrong in the Knicks game I may switch over.

Although, whenever Gilbert says he's going to go off on a team, he doesn't. He said that he would go off on Portland last year because of a slight he felt over Team USA and then went out and had a subpar game.

Hopefully tonight he comes through and backs this up.

Actually he's 50/50 because he did light up Pheonix like he said he would because he was mad at Dantoni. I think it had to do with the Olympics and getting cut Dantoni and Mcmillan were they lead coaches. He dropped 54 on them

The balls on this cat to call out Boston with Garneet, Allen, and Pierce on the team is amazing. I will be interested in seeing who wins and how well he plays.

I think Isles has a lot saved up for this season. I look forward to it. I look so forward to hearing Isles sarcasm that I will openly be rooting for my team to lose.

I'm not gonna lie to you, I think this is going to be a big year for me.

I think most posters use the Alba thread for that.

You got to love Arenas, he's like a little kid at times, but he is disciplined enough to do his job and has a blast while doing it.
Gilbert vs. the C's...I may have to find a tv and tune into that tonight since I won't be getting MSG.

The first 2 months are key. If they go the way I think they will, just grab a seat and enjoy the ride.
