coming from radio out of chicago:
48 hours for approval
- This is above Paxson's head right now (reinsdorf involved in the deal)
- Lakers are sick of Kobe and want him gone now. Were amazed he got booed so badly last night

Here's the deal:
- Does not involve Deng
- Does involve (best info at the moment) Kirk Hinrich
- 3rd team is the Kings
- Artest Going to Lakers

If this is true then someone needs to block this trade and fast. A desperate Laker team is gonna give the title away just like they did when the traded Shaq. This does no one good especially the Lakers because this has potential to make Buss and everyone in the Lakers organization look like fools.

The way he played last night showed he wasnt going to change and that none of the younger players will be able to develop under him. He cursed at Luke Walton at the half for going up for a rebound from one of his misses. They both went up at the same time Kobe trying to follow his miss and collided with Luke and they both failed to get the tip at the half. He immediately demonstratively dropped an F-Bomb on Luke and Luke fired back with Dude I was trying to follow your miss WTH is your problem?

Then Magic just plasters him all night, although saying throughout it all they should keep him. Magic's comments about the introductory booing was classic. He roasted him thoroughly as he should.

i don't know the legitimacy of any of this but imagine being in chicago right now - you must have all this nervous energy and anticipation.

Yea Kobe looked UNHAPPY last night.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Nervous because they are about to ruin a good team. The Bulls were headed in the right direction now adding Kobe might set them back, lets face it he is as like as much as A-Rod by his teammates. When does he start cussing out Deng.

if you make a deal for kobe, then you are forcing your ownership to spend more money to try to win a title. if reinsdorf is prepared to do that, then it's a good move (as long as they keep deng).

Need to see who they the Bulls are trading. I don't think this is going to end well for the Bulls. I like their current makeup. They should not mess with this group.

Laker uppermanagement seems eager (desperate?) to get somehting sooner rather than later. Anyway we can sneak in with a package headlined by Curry, Lee & Craw?

Maybe we can pull Sac in on the deal if the Lakers want Artest. We could even include Balk to Sac in one of the scenarios.

Longshot, I'm sure, but with the state of Lakers management, its worht a shot.

we've experienced first hand how an owner can influence his gm's ability to do his job. getting kobe to be the heir to jordan is very seductive if you own the bulls.

Hate to say it, but:

Ben = Rodman
Deng = Pippen
Kobe = Jordan

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Man if there's no Deng or Hinrich in that trade and its just some combo of Tyrus and Gordon and Noah than there are a few teams that could beat that.

It would have to be Curry, Lee, Balkman, Nate, Chandler and pick to get them to listen.

Morris
Randolf/Rose
Q/Jefferies
Kobe/Jones
Marbury/Collins

Hmm, Tyrus and Noah, eh? Isn't that what we gave up for Curry?

[sarcasm]Yes, I think this is a bad trade for Chicago also...[/sarcasm]

Guys, you think that Chicago is going to read your post and change their minds so we can get him?

If you can get Kobe you get him. He makes your team better whoever you are.

The only team that I think 'Doesn't Want' Kobe is Cleveland.

oohah

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!
