Most likely case: 39 wins.
Best case: 47 wins.
Worst case: 31 wins.

I'm sticking with 38-43. Although I would not be shocked by 25 or 47 either. If I had to pick a number I'd say 41 wins.

Maybe I shouldn't have insulted everyone's posting before I started this one. I'm really starting to regret that "Dear Season" post. I think it's really coming back to bite me. I really have to start thinking things through before I act.

I can't be more specific than that.

FYI: If I see another prediction thread started that gets honest replies that aren't nonsensical jokes like the ones that you and evil have inflicted upon this post, I will go ballistic. All I wanted was a simple prediction thread. That's all I wanted.

I predict MSG loses the Anucha appeal.
I predict the Knicks do NOT get Kobe, just like they didn't get KG.
I predict some Knicks will be injured (just like every other team in the NBA).
I predict they will not make the playoffs.
I predict that we will watch someone else using our lottery pick next summer.

Still looks like a 38 win team to me. I don't see any consisntency in the effort and I don't think we've got a rotation yet. I think if the right players play- and I mean bigger minutes for guys like Balkman, Lee, Collins and even Nate, we'd be more competetive.

I think the starting lineup is still a mishmash. Steph doesn't really fit. Curry is an odd fit. Crawford is erratic. Q is always hurt. Randolph can play and should be the focal point- lets see if he is.

I think at its best we could be a more of an uptemp team with more of a pick and pop style. I think Zach and Marbs could be a very good duo, but with a different sort of supporting cast. I think Balk and Lee play support very well. Chandler and Collins could too. Nate is more of a sparkplug change of pace guy. They could use a shooter at the 2. Another defensive presence at the 5.
