oh great! curry made an all nba team.

in addition, the should have an all underacheivers squad- that might not be fair since we could fill it without help from the rest of the league.

This squad would have no trouble taking care of the Knicks on any given night...

Who rates Rafer Alston that highly. I don't see people shouting to the rooftops about Jason Terry either. And I'm not sure J'O Neal is that overrated as much as he can't stay healthy (another problem in and of itself).

Before you Curry lovers start with the "How is Curry overrated when everyone bashes on him" argument, look yourself in the mirror as you type.

Obviously it's factoring things like salary, defense, role on a contending team, how a players is talked about, season play vs post-season play, how a player performs in the clutch.... etc etc.

it strikes me that that lineup would pretty much be Zeke's dream team.

That was the funniest thing I've ever read on a Knicks message board. I mean I tried to get a laugh with that one, but that one was comedic gold.

JO is 1 of the best shotblockers in the game, a very good rebounder, offensive post player, is still relatively young & has been the cornerstone of some playoff teams in the past... how exactly is he overrated?

Al Harrington is a very tough matchup for any team & has big shot making ability... he's not making nearly as much as some other players that should have made that list if salary was a main deciding factor... hell, i'd put Marbury on that list before either 1 of those guys based on those factors you just listed.

Jermaine makes $20mil, is injury prone, and a poor leader. Harrington didn't look better than Matt Barnes in the playoffs last yr and may come off the bench in Nelly's system this yr, doesn't play a lick of D despite being 6'10" has a career avgs of 5.9reb/gm .3blk/gm and .9stl/gm. I look at both sides of the ball my friend. He acknowledged he'll take it as a challenge to get back to being a starter. Now should other players have made the list of course but the list is definitely a good one.

Harrington is making $8 mil per... there's a ton of other overrated players in the league you could put on that list over him... if you're judging this all based on postseason performances you could make a better case for Dirk when you consider the dollars he's making... & how about Mike Finley, the guy's making franchise player dollars & he's pretty much a role player on his team... you telling me he's not overrated? how about T-Mac? is he suddenly some awesome leader that elevates his teams to warrant the contract he's making? is Chris Webber worthy of franchise player dollars at this point in his career (yes, i know he got bought out, but he's still making that salary regardless)

i could go on & on... Antawn Jamison, Rashard Lewis, Lamar Odom... these are not nearly franchise calibre players, yet they're all making franchise player dollars... if you really look at both sides of the ball how about addressing how those players are somehow worthy of their contracts yet Al Harrington isn't.

I'm not sure overrated should be based on dollars. I think it's mostly based on average perception vs. what they actually do. In that case, I wouldn't have chosen Harrington either way, but nonetheless, I do think he is a tad overrated.

the list addresses the most overrated players in the league... no way do JO & Al Harrington belong on that list.

Good argument on Francis. Can't argue that one.

I agree. I always hated when injury-prone players made the list. Zydrunas Ilgauskas used to be a regular on these kinds of lists. Then he got healthy and he was an all-star. Not a fair criteria. If you're going to take forwards, Mike Dunleavy is a much better choice.
