Is it because they have a system that they actually follow? or is it because they got the big 3? or is it because we don't have either? I don't get it, could someone pls explain?

They have a coach and a gm who are competent. They also have a competent point guard who is selfless and leads by example. They have a team of players that will sacrifice and do what they need to win. They have a vision and a plan and they continue to follow it.

They just don't match up well with them at all. Vince, dick, and kidd are just amped up to play the knicks. I think they all get together to masterbate to a poster of patrick ewing.

In other words, they just have the knicks number. Cocky bastards.

i agree with this assessment except the image of self satisfication on a poster (YUK!) the nets are tired of the media coverage in this area the past six years where they have a competitive team that made it to the finals but they cover the knicks just as equally or maybe more. you can also tell with their condenscending comments the past 6 years that they despise us. they circle the date they play us every year and what to flat out destroy us. it also seems they have a mental edge. this is the only team besides maybe the spurs that they fold when they play. they better change this quick because now the nets are equal to the knicks in head to head victories when entering the millenium we enjoyed an almost insurmountable margin.

I think Marbs gets caught up in trying to prove he's better than Kidd and starts playing a lot of one on one which hurts our offense. They also have two great scorers at the three and the two. We are trying to guard them with elementary school kids. I think we will have similar issues against Boston

But having those stars won't help them in the second half of the season. They will wear down and the Knicks second unit who might be part of the first unit will beat them.

We can't beat the Nets because we have fans like Papabear who cheer on Isiah for bringing in players like Marbury, Curry, Randolph and Crawful. The more those types of fans cheer, the more career losers we get on the Knicks.

knicks wings with the exception of Q, act as if they are intimidated by punk ass vince and RJ, and kidd just puts them so far over the top, it is not even funny. The key thing is that they beat the knicks mentally, they seem to be a step ahead of the knicks in every game... simple...

Man fans have the right to root for their team, it's the GM's job not to bring dumbasses and headcases in.

It's so simple. We suck!!! Anyone can beat us. That's the tradgedy of it all. It amazes me how some people here still don't get it.
