With "Lil Nicky"'s recent playoff performances, do you wish we had traded KT this season for NVE? If the option is there next season, do we/should the Knicks do it? If we didn't have KT, we'd be a carbon copy of the Bucks... just my 2 cents, or should I say 50 cents?
Trade KT for NVE, NVE would get the Knicks more wins than KT does
Keep KT, he's more important to the Knicks than NVE would be

Too little, too late. Deal was on the table, Knicks did not grab it. His price will skyrocket. The deal was Kurt and the pick for NVE. Knicks did not want it, and now hes not really available.

Are you kidding me? Let's see... front line rotation of Harrington, Spoon and Doleac? 4 PGs? NVE, Eisley, Ward, Williams, Milos in the pipe?

Am I missing something? Was there another person involved in this deal. ... And our #9 pick this year?

"the architect" made the right move.

... a first round pick was not involved.

... and don't talk to me about our front line when "the architect" decided it wasn't necessary to have a center or utilize mid cap to land a guy like Keon Clark... and I don't consider Doleac a center or an NBA player.

Van Exel would have given Knick fans a reason to watch this boring, inept team.

No disrespect to the Knicks, but its about time Nick had his chance on a winner - he was stuck in Denver and he deserves a shot with the skills he has. I think it worked out ok for both sides, he wouldnt do well on a team with a frontcourt of Doleac and Spoon.

I wouldn't wish this Knicks team on anyone!! They're the laughing stock of the league... quite possibly the worst run franchise in all of professional sports... now that the Bengals have hired Lewis and have Carson Palmer and a strong draft.

Disagree if you want Martin... I'd label it as being in denial... it's the sad, plain truth.

Damn pike, we have to stop agreeing so much... but the truth is the truth, we are run like a Joke, we have a owner that is a self proclaimed basketball ignoramus, and we have a GM that is in denial that he is a basketball ignoramus..... Sad state of affairs. Don't get me wrong, I want layden to prove me wrong, I want the knicks to turn it around this year with a good trade and draft, but then again, I also want to hit that lotto, world peace,...... see where I am going?

LOL...

NVE plays in the perfect system for him. Dallas is a one on one team and NVE does that well. The guy will shoot nine out of ten times. NVE would have been sweet say last year but to get the most out of NVE you would have to play a similar system to the MAvs and bring him off the bench. The guy that I think the Knicks should try and get is Cassell or Payton. They would help the KNicks as much as NVE if not more.

The only way you move Kurt is to lose some contracts, get a younger big man, or get a high pick with some garbage (realistically). Unfortunately.

Look, I'm for dismantling this team... completely rebuilding but, we all know this is not going to happen. Again, as I've said before, the Knicks brain thrust has not done ONE THING to indicate they're even remotely thinking about developing young talented players.

Martin you actlie we have a shot at winning with kurt thomas..lol ..come on kurt is not a bad player, but I'm not scared of losing him to get exel than using the exemption to replace him.

uh, you gotta clean your glasses or something. I make no mention or even hint at the fact that with Kurt we have a shot at winning. No need to put actions or words in my mouth.

What I will suggest is that the Knicks have a better shot at winning with Kurt than they do with NVE. Without Kurt you lose your best low post defender. You lose any type of interior D. You lose menace in the middle. Why would you want to add a player who duplicates a postiion we are already paying 3 people for already while at the same time giving up an above average big man? Pure stupidity.

All things considered equal, I would want NVE on my team. But NVE for Kurt with the current roster and salary situation of the Knicks? Please.

I've been on the KT bandwagon for the longest. Hell, half the time, Kurt's the only Knick playing D on the court! And for his playing level, Kurt comes cheap at only $5M. The only way you want to trade him is if we get in return a young PF or young/veteran C. And the market's kinda tight right now. I say keep him.
