Those predictions must have been before they won 2 big preseason games.

They obviously don't realize how great things are with the Knicks at the moment. That's the only explanation since it's supposed to be completely unreasonable for people to think that way about the Knicks.

How is that when the Knicks big acquisition plays the same position, which means Lee is definitely coming off the bench and could very well have his minutes reduced?

As long as Isiah doesn't consider trading our next 4 first round picks for Sam Dalembert or Andrew Bogut, I'm going to consider that a plus.

You don't have to be an expert to know how terrible the Knicks franchise is right now.

Lee is an 8th round pick in fantasy. Anything higher, and you're overrating him.

its wierd. the knicks are ranked low with this group but espn hasn't shown love for the knicks in years. why should they? they have been losing for 6 years now. we need to turn it around this season. no excuses. oh, on a side note, si basketball preview had us ranked number 6 in our conference making the playoffs as well as the nba experts on nba tv. so not everyone thinks the knicks are going to be losers.

Oh god, now we are going to have to endure analysis as it relates to fantasy sports. Add a few more mock trades and I think I may kill myself.

I agree. Until you win, you will not be shown love. It's that simple. This is sports. The object of the game is to win, not have the potential to win. The day we start winning, is the day people start loving us.

Any surprise that the SI ranking was the only one mentioned during the game the other day? Like we're supposed to think that everybody feels the same way about this team, instead of the vast majority thinking that they will be a non-playoff team. Talk about misleading.

Isles I actually love the KNicks announcers(especially Clyde) but I find myself wanting to listen to the away broadcast because ever since the Marv debacle, I don't Know if I am getting honest analysis from my announcers. They say something positive about a player and I start to get excited. Then I start thinking, is that real, or is it propoganda. That's pretty sad.

I do beleive their situation is a little different than ours. But I could be wrong. You cannot compare the Knicks situation to anyone.

We would probably be in a position to win an nba title in three years had isiah not gotten curry. I think it's a pretty fair estimate, we had trouble against atl, char, mil, last year and all of them are a lot better, we are slightly improved and can't guard anyone.

When was the last time Isiah showed he had any idea what lineups to use out there. This team makes the playoffs if balkman, lee are on the floor at all times, lee needs to be playing more minutes than curry in order for this team to win.

We constantly walk around with a chip on our shoulders thinking that the world is treating us wrong. That they are underestimating us. But thus far we have proven them right.

It's so weird to me. An analyst predicts we will win 33 games and half the website throws a fit. Intense anger abounds. Yet when that team comes in and wins 33 games those same people blast others for being upset with the 33 wins. They preach patience and tell people to stop expecting so much at this point. It's such a weird dynamic to me. No one has accurately explained this situation to me.

Maybe that is because your grasp of the situation isn't so accurate.

But to sum up my thoughts on this quickly...Nothing said on this board makes me "angry" because I don't think anything people toss casually into the cybersphere is worth getting upset about. I guess that includes predictions from so-called "experts."

I do disagree with people who continuously cite the 33 wins as proof of lack of progress. I just don't think that is fair considering the circumstances the last two months of the season. Not to mention, of course, that 33 wins after a 23 win season (when some “experts” had predicted as low as 19 last year) is by any impartial measure “progress.”

I find it odd that supposed "fans" twist themselves all into knots in attempts to deny the progress we saw over the course of the season last year. They say the schedule over two months was the "easiest you will ever see". You point out that they are wrong, they come back with a retort that suggests the statistical anomaly of the 6 game win streak we had under Brown is somehow equivalent to that of 35 games over more than a two month period. Well, that isn't right, is it.

I don't think a desire to point to these inaccuracies has to be "explained", but please take that as a start. I have reasons to be skeptical of this team this season, as I've explained to you before, but I also don't see any reason to abandon hope that we will continue to see progress. Teams do improve and its not only because they trade all of their vets away for draft picks and cap space. Sometimes they just get better.
