Can Eddy and Z-BO co-exsist in Starting lineup ?

Will Eddy Cuury and Zach Randolph play well together on the court for the yr ? Eddy Curry doesn't love the game of basketball like a nate robinson or z-bo. He likes basketball about as much as jerome james. Growing up eddy didn't like basketball, he liked tumbling at the half time of chicago bulls games this is why his feet are so nimble for a big man. He out grew tumbling and took up basketball with the urging on from other kids, but not with the same passion he had for tumbling. Scott skiles in chicago knew this , jim paxson of chicago knew this; but Isiah Thomas loves his boys from the west side of chicago(harvey illinois). Now he's a misfit and feels like the last puppy picked up from the dog pound. The guy feels left out since zach randolph has elevated his game. It's getting so bad , guys are trying to force feed eddy the ball to make him feel apart of the team. I'm afraid this could get ugly. Zeke is gonna continue to start eddy, but he should IMHO be coming off the bench and try to dominate the other teams 2nd unit. This is gonna be all mental with eddy all year unless he rediscovers a passion for the game.

Eddy Curry is a 24 year-old struggling to get some rhythm. It is not the first time a professional athlete had to work through a slump. Whatever the problems with his shoulder, the partnership with Randolph will take time because Zach is dynamic and creative. Eddy is more paint-by-numbers.

some things take time.

If they can't co-exist as starters, the first unit gains David Lee and that ain't a bad thing.

Eddy has to put his mind body and soul into what the knicks are trying to do.

Eddy seems to be trying to force his way into the knicks scheme of things and when he isn't , his teammates are forcing the ball to him.

I'm sure Isiah see this and has to tell curry to let the game come to him.

Somebody should tell eddy to watch film on shaq , to find out how to get to his sweet spots without drawing offensive fouls repeatedly.

Nate even watched film on different pg's and look how it has paid off so far.

But Isiah is so tied to Curry, he's forced to play him as much as Curry's foul trouble allows. That's fine. It's only appropriate that another one of his mistakes takes him down.

I think they can probably coexist, if they are in the same universe. I'm no scientist, but I think if either of them is from an alternate universe, we could be in trouble.

We talked about this during the summer. My concern isn't whether there is room downlow for two post players. Many teams have done this before. Doesn't even matter if they are both guys that never pass. What matters is what happens to player two when player one is the focal point in the offense. Eddie struggles with this. His productivity will be a direct result of how he responds. Let us all pray that he figures out that the NBA isn't all about scoring.

At least Zach can play on the perimeter or back a guy in. Curry needs the ball within 3-8 feet of the basket, where he can shoot without dribbling, or there's a very good chance of a turnover. So Curry needs a good PG that can run an offense and make good entry passes. The Knicks don't have one. Curry will be lucky to revert back to his 2006 numbers.

And Curry's early comments since the trade was made reflect that.

I voted no because Isiah is not the right coach for it. He get to one-track minded. Every new player is like a new toy. It's like he doesn't know the meaning of the words multi-task.

I personally think they CAN co-exist if Curry is the sole player down low when he is in and Zack is the main guy who benefits-mid-range and out-when Curry is doubled-and Zach is the sole focus down low in the 15 minutes a game Curry isn't in.

IF Z-BO is on the perimitter and Curry is down low if our guys shoot and miss do you really think eddy will get the rebound ?

Look the guy is very nimble for his size and should be an awesome rebounder , but like Mark Aguirre said there is so much about basketball eddy doesn't even know and he has been in the league for 6-7 yrs.

How can this tandem work when Isiah is married to Marbs and Crawford to feed them the rock.

Curry has to be on the court alone with the 2nd unit to be the only one getting the rock in the post.

Z-BO needs the the paint and perimitter and curry is a waste when he's on the court.

If isiah was a real coach he would make changes within the starting lineup.

Let's wait and see if he succumbs under pressure of his friendship with marbury and crawford.

You guys want to blame Curry but last night he was the only bright spot on the team, he shot well from the floor. The true problem with the Knicks is their inconsistency by their guards to shoot well. Three player absolutley stunk it up last night and Crawford is and will always be VC's bitch. Marbury is a god awful PG who has no clue what to do other than the play called his ability to improvise and create opportunity for teammates is terrible. He has to get more of out of his teammates than he does. When a PG has no clue its tough all the way around for the entire team.

He get his 20 points but how many he allowed? Magloire looked like star (if he can make a free trw)
Eddy cannot stand his ground and this is not guards fault. They however suck big time anyway.
