David Lee has always been a hard worker but anyone notice the way he has been dunking the ball lately? He has been seriously show boating in the way of kenyon martin, shawn kemp, etc this year so far. He's been totally flushing/tomahawking everything and placing a lot of style/flair on it. His face is also noticably serious.

As far as nate his shot has been off but he has been quietly playing some supurb basketball. He is becoming a point guard in year 3. His head is up, he's keeping his dribble and he is way more decisive with his play on the court. His ability to score never left despite his poor shooting in pre-season. I believe he might be turning the corner in his career.

Zach/ CHEMISTRY? I think that is a non issue. The guys are holding each other down and there is a family feel/togetherness being displayed out there on the court. The same physical deferences I described with david lee above has pretty much infected the entire team. Marbury has his game face onand looks to be in the best shape of his career.

You know, im a homer, but I will flame anybody down with the knicks if I see they aren't bringing that ny intensity. This year the knicks just seem to be "different". I credit isiah. I credit the young guys for their hard work. I credit the vets for refocusing and seriously improving their bodies/minds in the off season.

Call it a manifesto.......but I feel these knicks may have found their way.

Anybody hear the comments the knicks made after the boston game? It seems as if the knicks as a team have a serious dislike for boston and the "big three". Craw was sarcastically smiling during his post game comments and Q was more gangster about it, saying basically that he nor the team has any respect for those guys.

Yes! A rivalry in the making. A real nba rivalry. Pierce was fueling that after the loss cuz he was still talking about how they smashed the knicks by 40 last week.

At any rate, I truly believe the knicks have found their swagger and will be a damn good team next year.

I fail to see the connection between 'dunking with style' & 'showboating'. when I read that first sentence- up til the end, I thought you were saying that D Lee had taken a step back.

I'm not disagreeing that lee is more serious.

As far as rivalry- only matters if we win/compete in games. If we're down 20 in q1 every game, that isn't a rivalry.

AnySpree - the mental approach change was evident in Vegas with the young guys.

Apparently, the vets got the same message

Marv, even the 72 win Bulls team lost to expansion Toronto twice.

Are you looking for perfection? These aren't the guys. But I think we will gradually see more of what we are looking for: Focus, determination, toughness.

Let's give these guys a little more time.

It takes millions of years for the earth to forge diamonds from dirt.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

hopefully, the Knicks can make the Eastern Conference Finals in less time than it takes a diamond, other than in Superman's hands.

I'd settle for 2009

I think the knicks got a huge wake up call with that 40 point loss. Boston was playing for real and the knicks didn't seem to be ready for that type of competition. Against new jersey they played better and in boston, they brought it to them and boston got pissed.

I just like how the knicks are playing. Its a swagger. I freakin love it. I just hope they can channel it for the 100 or so games we hope they get to play this year.
