Hey those of you who are watching the games, what's going on with Morris?
I'm not hearing anything about him. Is he getting any burn? Is he viable
as a backup C if we cut JJ? What's the word?

Right now Malik is getting his minutes. Unless something changes don't expect to see him this season.

Morris and Mardy are gone...
looks like some personal stuff with Isiah.
And looks like they will be traded for whatever to cut...

That's a hell of a way to treat someone that you claimed to be a mid first round pick.

If he really were a mid first round pick, would Isiah be giving him burn just to prove how smart he is? Or would he be burying him like he is, on the bench next to Demetrius Nichols, whose only crime was not letting Isiah stash him in Europe?

His salary is too low for him to get playing time.

He's our only real back up center aside from 5-min-James. Shouldn't he be getting some burn in pre-season?

what personal stuff?

Okayfine - Isiah hates Randolph Morris, the same kid he outworked other teams to sign him in an unprecedented move?

arkrud c'mon, do you take a moment to think before you write some of this stuff?

or are you that blinded by your bias?

I agree, I too wish Thomas would give Nichols more burn. I would like to see what he has against real competition. I would hate to think this was because he didn't want to go to Europe. If he was that good, they would not have wanted him to go to Europe and he would have made the team, no questions asked. What's funny about Demtrius is you would think he is coming out of College as lottery pick making the demands and claims he is making. Better to be humble and then blow up, maybe he will go to the D league.

the Knicks starters and first few guys off the bench have looked awful during the preseason, so it makes sense that the first 8-9 guys will get minutes until they get it right and then the other guys will get them.

HE got DNP'd- and so did Mardy and Nichols. Marbury, Zach, Craw playing all played 35 mins. We clearly wanted to win, though the result was meaningless.

Would much rather use this opportunity to get a look at who can make the roster and keep the other guys in shape.
