LARRY BROWN quit PHILLY right ? Maybe PHILLY wants a fresh start. They trade away IVERSON, VAN HORN & their 50th pick to us in exchange for a bunch of expiring contracts & draft picks like WARD, KNIGHT, MCDYESS, POPE, NAILON, POSTEL & the 9th & 34th pick. They do it for cap room & picks. We have IVERSON / HOUSTON / VAN HORN as scoring options & we still have the 31st & their 50th pick. We could still draft LANG at 31st & JOSH POWELL at 50th. Just a thought.

I am assuming you mean if Lampe falls to 9th. We would still need to give them more. Plus, don't we need to sign Nailon, Pope and Postell first before we can trade them?
