I have supported and loved the Knicks for so long. And up until 2 years ago anything they have done any failure they have had I've always still supported them. But these past two years the only emotion they can bring out of me is total and utter disappointment. And right now the only hope I have is that the Knicks start off the season terribly. Im hoping for a 5-15 start so that Knick fans everywhere can possibly get an early Christmas present which is Isiah Thomas' firing. As it stands the Knicks are only prolonging the inevitable. Because even if its not this month or two months from now Isiah Thomas will eventually get fired. The longer it takes for this to happen the farther and farther behind this organization falls. Right now in the Eastern Conference a youth moment is starting. Teams that were once at the bottom of the barrel are loadind up with future all-stars or in some cases current all-stars. Teams like Charlotte, Orlando, Atlanta, Toronto, and Chicago. And while yes the Knicks have some nice young talent but with the helter skelter line-ups, lack of positive vetran influence, and poor coaching our young guys are going to continue to fall behind. Either our good young talent will bolt the first chance they get or they will fail to reach their full-potential. So the best course for the Knicks organization as of right now is to have a terrible start to the season and bring in a interim coach thats just going to focus on letting the young guys develop while putting the costly vetrans on the sidelines. Granted we would most likekly have another season without a playoff berth but in the long run this will be putting the Knicks in a much better position. Hopefully they get a nice draft pick (hopefully at the point guard position, unload the most expensive contracts, use whatever money they have to bring in bonafide shooters, and finally put together a team with some sort of vision and cohesion.

Good plan. And it should be no problem to implement it...
Hmmm... earlier tanking.

You'll be called a hater for hoping the Knicks lose, but...

I nominate this for post of the year.

(It would be even better if you broke it up into more than one paragraph.)

I think we need a 1 and 19 or 2 and 18 type start to get Dolan to fire Isiah. We need drastic loosing for Dolan to finally admit his mistake.

Everyone talks about how isiah would confess to his mistakes- but Dolan is the one who needs to wake up and smell the coffee.

So let’s say Dolan realized that Isiah must go.
Can they kick him out as incompetent based on his performance and office space issues?
Can IT go to court to get his contract money after Anucha thing?
Can it be more perfect time for MSG to get read of IT?
Interesting...

I honestly do not know what will have to happen for Isiah to go. I can't imagine anyone being less effective, or less professional and still having a job. He has turned my two decade passion for the Knicks into an after thought. I just assume he will continue to mess up and things will continue to get worse. I get worried when people start saying the team needs veteran leadership because he may make another Malik type move. I continue to hope that at some point Charles Dolan will intervene and make some changes.
