Anyone who wants to dispute this, can't. We are not a good team, and we don't really have a chance to be. We are going to run into the same problem before the brawl and thats finding minutes for everyone on this squad.

We have redundant talent at every postion and our most effective players will suffer because isiah is a clueless fool that can't pull off a decent trade or make a mid-level signing. It's quite clear that collins has fallen out of favor for what reason i don't know. Curry and Zach are lost out there together and can't be on the floor at the same time, which is a tremendous problem, and our guards are just so clueless when it comes to playing any sort of defense it's impossible for us to win.

Jones serves no purpose as do Jefferies and trying to fit them in is toxic. Chandler has nice potential has a very smooth stroke and is big and can rebound the ball but his minutes will dissapear and he will not see the light of day, with balkman and Q in the fold and thats not even counting jj2. It's a shame that isiah has no vision and can't realize that his late pics would really mean something if he had a plan. Why draft someone so similiar to balkman, why pass up on three good pgs the year before it makes no sense.

How can you be positive with this team there is little room to grow, you can't win with four ****ty defenders in your starting unit, especially when they all turn the ball over. Chandler needs to start at the two, crawford and and nate need to be move and collins, balkman and lee need all the backup minutes in order for the knick to be competitive. Preseason is a big deal especially when guys play like they don't care these guys are just a plain disgrace. It's time they step up or get benched, isiah really needs to figure out how to work out his rotations otherwise this team stands little chance

Dolan happened.
Then Isiah happened.
Then the rest happened.

Can anyone play D on this team besides Balkman and Jones????? Marbury is a fat shzit, Q cant jump, Curry is a dump truck, ZBO is another fat szhit, Nate is a midget, Houston is a traffic cone, Jeffries is awful, Morris didnt play D in college, James is 400lbs. What gives, Isiah thinks guys who can score are better than defense.
I want to leave something that's going to stand for a long timeI want to leave a legacy,I want to leave tradition.I want to leave an imprint,a blueprint in terms of how people play, and how they coach and how they respond when they put on the Knick uni.

Isiah is a chicagoan. chicagoans, believe it or not, are bred to hate NY. I know this as a fact. He doesn't give a **** about our development. He, just like everyone else knows they can make an easy buck here and they don't have to prove a thing. Dolan is the bigger fool. Yeah, he's a lover.
I'll never trust this' team again.

I couldn't watch the game but it sounds like the team didn't play well. Well we let's see what happens during the regular season.

the one thing that will get me through an aweful season of knick basketball is the hope that isiah gets fired and we keep our soon to be lotto pick.

The game last night was terrible to watch. Curry showed some passion but it wasn't on the ball intensity. I'm hoping they can turn this around when the season starts.

40pts, 16pts this team is right where they left off no pride, all talk.....

Chandler/Balkman is the better combo at the sf position, but they are going to have to fight each other for minutes.

The Hawks are a better team than the Knicks as are the Bobcats, and thats not even throwing the celts into the playoffs, we are the 12th best team in the confernce. I would take Al Horford over both players in out frontcourt right now, we are stuck with this experiment that has no chance of working unless one guys minutes are cut in half

Ah, a hate thread! Sweet.....

Isiah don't care about anyone except Isiah. Its not a chicago/nY thing. Arrogance and ignorance has no boundries. Isiah is all about Isiah.

A very telling quote was the other day when he had to explain that he was smiling "because my life is good". Thats a man on the edge who at least is saying that despite all his phuchups his children are healthy and he is wealthy. I can't imagine his marriage is all that great. I mean how would you feel if your Mrs. Isiah and besides the fact your man got another women pregnant while your were engaged, he was found in a court of law harrassing a Robert Parish in drag look alike and the whole world knows it! But she long ago settled for this life of deception with here serpent man and lies in the bed she made with the prenup she likely signed!

We need to really start subtracting people from this team in order to find a rotation that works.

Step 1: Buy out Jerome James

Step 2: Trade Jared Jefferies and Randolf Morris for Etan Thomas
-Morris has no place on this team as currently constructed, we need a backup center that plays hard and plays a little defense, addition by subtraction

Step 3: Trade Nate Robinson, Mardy Collins and Fred Jones for Brian Cardinal and Kyle Lowry
-If we can get memphis to bit on this by offering them cap room, and someone that is a good backup for conely and isn't a threat we should jump all over it

Step 4: Send Jamal Crawford to the bench in favor of Wilson Chandler at the two guard
-Isiah would never do this because it makes sense, to add someone that can guard the opposing teams 2 guard and not stall the offense trying to get his own shot

New Knicks

Marbury-Lowry
Chandler-Crawford
Q-Balkman
Zach-Lee
Curry-Thomas

It's one of life's bitter ironies. Curry, who's known to show little heart was deemed fit to play by his doctors, while Etan Thomas, who shows all heart had to undergo open heart surgery:

WASHINGTON (AP) - Etan Thomas was recovering from open heart
surgery Friday, and the doctor who performed the operation didn't
rule out the possibility of the Washington Wizards' center
returning to play in the NBA this season.
"We think the function of his heart and lungs should return to
normal," said Dr. Hartzell Schaff, a cardiovascular surgeon at the
Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. "And it's possible he could get
back to playing professional-level basketball."
Schaff said most patients recover from the operation in four to
eight weeks, but the physical nature of basketball will require a
longer rehabilitation for Thomas. The biggest hurdle will be the
healing of Thomas' sternum, which had to be broken in order to
perform the surgery.
"It's going to be more than a couple of months," Schaff said.
"But I don't know if we're talking about one month more or one
week more."
Thomas was diagnosed with a leaking aortic valve following a
routine physical before the start of training camp last week.
Schaff described the leakage as "severe" and said it revealed
that Thomas had a bicuspid aortic valve that needed to be repaired
or replaced.
"It's a condition that he's had since birth," Schaff said.
"But it wouldn't have been apparent until the valve starts
leaking."
