Tell the coach he should focus on getting them to play smart out there. Oops, don't ask Isiah for that. He is still finishing that amazing defensive strategy we have used in the last two games!

We Have to move one or both of them. Crawford, I would so like to drive a rusty assed nail in his balls. He is so damn stupid, he was out there to run the offense(my bad what offense?) all he did was dribble at the top of the key and takes the worst shots like he is playing horse on frickin crack. He will never be a star in this league - we need to trade his ass pronto.

Ah' don't worry about it. They'll be injured at some point in the season and the bad shots will suddenly stop. You'll see.
I'll never trust this' team again.

I don't think Q has any game left. He can't dribble and he has no mid range game, he can't get seperation from his opponent to get a shot off. The only way he scores is when its a fast break and they find him open while he is running up the court and he shoots a three. Actually Crawford had a good game from an offensive stand point but his defense leaves a lot to be desired.

The thing that worries me the most is that Isiah won't have any of the starters ready for the start of the season. He has to many players on the roster and he won't have any player identifying a role. If you guys recall the Knicks started to win after the fight and the roster was cut short due to supensions. I guess that is a lesson Isiah didn't learn.

What sucks is this team plays no defense nor show a lack of effort to. We have streaky shooters, a bunch one-on-one players who stagnate the offense, no true point guard.

Curry and Randolph will be fine scoring but dont forget these guys are Mr. Turnover and offensive fouls. I am not worrying about them 'meshing' on offense. I am worried about two guys who dont care to play any D. KG is good and all but Curry could have at least tried to contest his shots.

Crawford is streaky and not a PG (why Zeke had him there and not Collins or another PG is beyond me), Nate is small and he needs to develop PG skills to stick around. Q Rich is an ok shooter and was suppose to be starting because of his perimeter D, but he is injury prone and looks like a liability.

Then again this is what we get when he fill a team up with streaky guys who shoot alot and play no defense.

My starting 5 would be

Steph - really needs to focus on running the show. While he isnt the best at being a prototypical PG he is our best option and needs to really embrace that role.

Q-Rich - one of the only guys who are somehwat known for their D (his perimeter D that is)

Lee/Balkman/Chanlder - someone who hustles or rebounds or plays D and does the things Isaiah signed Jefferies for.

Randolph - skilled on offensive end

Curry - skilled on offensive end

I honestly think that we need to dump some of our offensive peices for some D. Is Artest still out there? How bout Jermiane O'Neal. Curry and/or Randolph needs to be complimented on the floor by someone who can play defense.

This has been the exact same complaint the last three years. I don't know why people thought it was going to be any better with basically the same team. Clearly, a trait of lovers.

Its called hope I guess. Zeke supposedly stressed defense in camp this year. But with the lack of defensive talent by our guys stressing aint gonna help. Sadly it looks like he is better suited on building a Baseball team than a basketball one.

Someone said it best when they said we have redundancy throughout the roster. Curry = Randolph, Nate = Jones, Q = Crawford + rebounding. Chandler = Balkman = Lee + an improved offensive game,Jeffreris = Malik Rose.

If anyone wants to see a team built with a vision in mind, check the Suns. It seems like everyone they sign ends up being gold. The guys who they get fit thier high paced offensive game each year. However they wont make the Finals or win a ring for the same rason will be fighting for a low playoff spot the most and thats on the defensive side.

Interesting that you felt Crawford was bad because Knickerblogger observed this:
http://www.knickerblogger.net/2007/10/18/2007-preseason-game-4/

Crawford was one of the few Knicks that played well, again continuing his preseason improvement of moving towards the hoop instead of settling for the jumpshot. He scored 22 points on 15 attempts, but did turn the ball over 5 times. The other Knicks that played well was Wilson Chandler.

jamal is one of the worst guards in the league, i can't believe anyone defends this guy, isiah really needed to take rondo or lowry last year but instead he takes a player that is a great finisher, which are important if you have someone that can pass the ball.

no one has any sense of pride, jamal plays no d, doesn't get up on shooters is careless with the ball, optimistic people, i don't see how anyone can be this team is 41 wins at best, and thats a stretch

Q might be the worst athlete in the league among SG, SF.

I'll give Q alot of credit for his rebounding. I think he has a fairly long wingspan and probably a good vertical because for his size he out rebounded Curry last yeaar with 7.2 per game.

Q's vertical = that of your avg fire hydrant. Kudos for his rebounding. But Balkman is a way better rebounder, plus he blocks shots & gets hustle points.

Q has overcome alot and will never be the player he used to be. He did show alot last year when he was healthy and he is a leader. I can think of along list of guys that I would want to see go before him. I am not sure what he is allowed to do in the off season to keep in shape. I know McDyess isn't allowed to play basketball. Maybe Q just has to get back in the groove.
