Eddy Curry was re-evaluated after his shoulder injury and is officially ready to return to action.

Curry will be on the court Monday morning, which means he'll get two workouts in before the Knicks play another preseason game. The guess is that he will be in the lineup on Wednesday in Boston and Thursday in New Jersey.

The motion and strength in Curry's shoulder are fine at present. "I think the big test is going to be when we play Miami, when I've gotta hold up Shaq, so we'll see what happens," said Curry

Shaq's going to be chopping down on that shoulder. I don't expect Curry to last the season.

It's a tradition now. You either have to be hurt or too old to play for the Knicks. Just make sure you can't make an impact and your in! Being an idiot is a plus. They will even pay you millions for it.
I'll never trust this' team again.

A tear isn't unnecessarily as extreme as it might sound. Tears can be very small and heal quickly or they might be catastrophic. If you have ever sprained your ankle, you may have just strained it, but you quite possibly have torn some of the connective tissue. But it isn't the same thing as being "torn apart". It could be tearing at the surface.

Having said that, I see no reason to rush Curry back. Why not give it an extra week or two? It is better to diminish the chances of a recurrence.

I bet Curry doesn't mix it up inside much at all during pre-season.

Shaq was injured on Saturday in a game vs the Bobcats. He suffered a quadriceps contusion after a collision with Emeka Okafor. The injury isn't serious, and Miami isn't sure how long he'll be out for.

All that to say, Curry may not be banging with Shaq anytime soon.
