I think it's a tough call. Dougherty and Hahn have really taken my notice with their strong balanced blog work over the past year, and even Berman has gained some respect from me for his blog (not related to letting Marbury writing it) when I used to loathe him since the "Good Riddance" piece when Ewing was traded. Each of these writers also keep up consistent blogs, with Hahn posting a lot lately, which for diehard fans is great, especially since he usually does it well.

I enjoy Knickerblogger's stat focus, although like any use of quantitative stats were other factors that are difficult to measure, this doesn't always tell the entire story, and sometimes we can go for a while without a post. In fairness these guys are not professional in the sense that they do it for fun, which should be taken into account and commended for.

Beck does a good job with his articles most of the time, and seems to be good at getting info on deals and musings, but he doesn't seem to write as frequently. I think it would be nice to see him keep a blog. I'm not too famliar with Admamek, but Isola's work too often lacks substance of late, so I rarely read his work now.

Too bad Dave D'Alessandro isn't a Knick writer anymore, he used to be the best during the Layden years at telling it like it is, when many of the writers then seemed to lack substance.

I've grown partial to Alan Hahn lately myself. Always can count on him for a good honest read.

Knickerblogger= by far the best. Not just for the stat pieces, but genuinely interesting pieces about the Knicks and the NBA.

Alan Hahn is probably the best of the beat writer blogs now, though Mike Dougherty is the best one at staying up to date.

Adamek is good. Doesn't blog frequntly enough.

Beck is on Isiah's payroll.

Berman is on Starbury's dick.

Dougherty is very good.

Alan Hahn is terrific. I miss him on the Isles beat.

Isola is very hit or miss. But I like him.

Knickerblogger is ok.
