Anyone have a youtube video of whatever Q-Rich play he's talking about where the ball slipped out his hands?

I think at some point he will be, but they usually pick veterans to be captain.

Lee's always well spoken. Suckbury should take a cue.
On the subject of overhauling. I know I've been pretty brutal on this roster, but in reality, if we can only make a few minor adjustments, then we'd have a decent future to look foreward to. This is all it would take: Isiah Gone! Dolan Gone! Suckbury Gone! Curry Gone! Zach Gone! Jerome Gone! Nate Gone! Houston Gone! Jared Gone! That's all it would take. Just a few little moves and we'd be set. That's not asking for much is it? We can do this. I'll never trust this' team again.

Posted by 4949: love lee but i dont think a white guy on isiah's team is going to be captain anytime soon. lol. regardless.......you pretty much turned over the whole knicks roster in your post. i am guessing you want othella harrington and moochie norris back. Nixluva is posting triangle screen grabs, even when nobody asks - Fishmike. LOL

Posted by Bonn1997: You didn't see it? Q Rich had a breakaway layup, and he tried to dunk it in some crazy way and the ball just slipped out of his hands. Everyone just laughed, but then I realized, they'd be killing Nate or other people if they did that, so I think Q SHOULD be criticized for that, in fairness to other people who clearly would have been criticized. “I couldn’t dunk it so I tried to, you know, just touched it.”- OG Anunoby

He should be captain but not this year. I agree with your choice because Lee just gets it. He knows what needs to be done to win.

I think David Lee can maybe be a lieutenant, but not a captain just yet. Don't we already have Captain Marbury?

This fawning over Lee is outrageous. Captain? Top player in the league? Lets give the guy a chance to develop a jumpshot and fall into his role before we start polishing the MVP trophy for him. Right now, Lee is a role player, nothing more. He has the potential to be more, but lets see him realize some of this before we start making him the captain of our team. smh.

I dont Lee is a great player but he will be a top role player in the league. I just dont see how you can make Steph a captain with the things he will say to the media. Zach has serious character issues. I dont think anyone should be a captain on this team until they play like a team, sacrifice and play like they should play.

Posted by bigbeast:Posted by Cartman718:Posted by 4949: lol, I still remember the outrage when Isiah drafted Lee with the last pick in the first rd. As for him being a captain, Coach K came out and said that Lee has a tremendous work ethic. Lee seems to say the right things. He seems to do the right things. He just knows how to play ball within his skill level and attributes. But in order to be a captain, you have to be a player that the other players would listen and respond to. You have to be a player that your teammates look to. I don't sense that with Lee. I can't picture Lee's teammates looking to Lee for leadership this early in his career. Randolph, Richardson, Marbury, Crawford, & Rose I think are the top 5 guys in that category. Whether they say the right things, do the right things, or not. I do agree that MSG should try and make him like the Knicks spokesman or something though, him and Crawford since Crawford is well spoken. https://vote.nba.com/en Vote for your Knicks.

The two captains on the team right now are Steph and Jamal. I read it when I got the game notes from nyknicks.com for the pre-season game on Wednesday.

Lee should not be a captain.
Captain should be reflection of the team and I don't want him to be reflection of... this thing. And I don’t think he want to. Marbs and Jamal are reflection of this team so they are right captains. "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy." Hamlet

Posted by Killa4luv: Polish the MVP trophy? Not nearly enough, considering what Lee has done. He should be immediately inducted into the Hall of Fame, his number should be retired, and his jersey hoisted into the rafters at MSG. https://
