Hmm. Seems like old times around here - I swear I read all these same messages last year, except that instead of "baby shaq" etc., we were talking about Nene Hilario, etc.

Going by past experience, the Knicks will trade the pick, just like they did last year. If they do pick someone, look for him to ride the bench.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

yeah dawg but the fan in me won't let it go.....

Our knicks are gonna make it one day......

Us Knicks fans been through alot and we are still gonna take alot.

As of today i'd rather have Nene, but it's all good cuz McDyess got the Knicks to get rid of alot of cap room. I hope Layden doesn't do something stupid like trade Dyess. That cap room is gonna help out down the road.......say like 3 years after Dyess comes off. Spree comes off in 2 years and 2 more years later Houston, Eisley and Shandon come off. By then the Knicks could have alot of young guys that by that 4th year probably will be ready to play some real basketball......

Talking about Deja Vu.....

Joe Dumars is already saying he's gonna make some roster moves. That's gangster. Joe knows basketball and he's not waiting for certain guys to gell or step up....he's gonna continue to find a way to piece a real championship contender together.

I think it's great what Joe is doing what he's doing for Detroit.

Knicks gotta find there way and the only way they are truly gonna do it is if they silently keep eliminating guys that are in excess, and replace them with young guys that won't reach there true potential to about 3-4 years anyway......along the way McDyess, Spree, Houston, Shandon, Eisley, and Spoon will be gone.

By that time what will Frank Williams be? How about our 3 picks? What about next years lorrery pick? What about the year after that?

Halleluyah!!!!!

I dont believe a clean sweep will put us in a better position as opposed to making strategic decisions and smart moves. Take the Bulls and Clips for example they keep getting younger but they're spinning they're wheels. Instead we gotta be balanced and make strategic decisions. Don't clean house keep some talent, keep some age, draft youth, sign warriors. This is how you build contending teams. This is the same formula the Nets and many other winning teams have used.
