Guys, what do you think? Did I make a mistake drafting Zach as my starting PF and Curry as my C from my faNTASY basketball team or will I be disppointed?

ALso, Q is one of my guards/small forwards. Those are the 3 Knicks on my fantasy team.

I bash Assiah and Dolan, Knicks Mgmt. That's the real problem within the organization. Whats funny is when i drafted those 2 in the Fantasy league, people thought I was crazy for drafting them early.

At least, lebron was my #1 pick..

Curry is looking thin. His face looks almost chisled compared to the past.

It doesn't matter what you post man. The pessimists have made up their mind. They'll say something like, he is still fat. Or something like, MSG must have photoshopped it because the picture that was posted earlier taken from the crappy camera with the bad lighting clearly proves he is bigger than moon. They have already made up their mind and will not wait till the season starts to see what shape he is in.

So you are punting on the blocks, steals, and turnovers categories? That's rough.

Assiah get fired, someone else comes in and gets the most out of these players both ends of the floor and gets the credit.

Fantasy basketball rule, never have 3 players from hte same team.

When the teams play bad or only have 3 games in a week you get screwed both ways.

not bad, with zach you know you will be getting a double double... that is great production.. curry doesn't rebound enough and he needs to cut down on the turnovers, but for a center option you could do worse, fantasy wise..

WOODMANnYk that's a guaranteed fantasy season loss. Zach is an pretty good fantasy performer, but his stats will be greatly reduced with him playing next to Eddy. Eddy is an absolute fantasy dud, terrible, someone I would never draft in fantasy basketball. Furthermore, his stats will also decrease, playing next to Zach.

As a result, I don't think you have a chance. On the plus side, though, post your progress. Maybe some of the doubters will finally get some introspection into how mediocre EY Curry actually is.

Zach is rated low in Yahoo for some reason despite being one of the higher fantasy point scorers. Eddy also appears to be underrated. I don't think you made a mistake but I wouldn't draft either guy too early. It seems to be easier to pick up an upstart big man who goes 10 and 9 for the year than a really good point or two guard. The other variable is your interest. I am sure that you will be more interested because you will get to watch these guys four or five times a week. I am planning on drafting Randolph if I can. Curry would be nice also but in the league I am in his lack of rebounding and blocked shots lowers his value. I also think you have a big advantage because most people do not follow basketball like people on this forum. You don't need to read a magazine to know about the draft or to recognize that a guy like Lee is a steal because he averages almost 10 and 10 and can play more than one position.

Risky decision. Could be a starphuck, but if you got Zach or Eddie as a really late pickup, b/c you needed an extra big who could put up points, then you might be in OK shape. But having those 2 as your main cog is bad fantasy business, as well as having the injury prone Q. And I extend what Playa says, don't have more than 2 players on your fantasy team, from the same team and even 2 can be a LOT, if they are bad team. Like having Michael Redd and Moe Williams might not be the best idea, b/c they are both capable of putting up big numbers, but they both need the ball, so they are not always gonna both be able to put up big numbers. Trust me, I've learned these mistakes the hard way.

Main cog players have to be guaranteed studs, or at least young breakout players that you know are gonna have breakout years. Like for example, we all hear how Bynum has been busting his ars this Summer and has something super duper to prove. He is someone I'd be willing to pick higher, than I did last season.
