Makes sense to me. At least the part about James.

Jordan should get a real chance to compete in camp. If he shows that his PG skills can make a contribution, I'd take him over Demetris Nichols.

That said, if we are planning on keeping them both, then I'm down with that too.

What a relief. I was really afraid that they would go a whole 6 months without buying out another multimillion dollar mistake by Isiah...not including lawsuits.
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

I checked the NBA bylaws and a player being fat and lazy doesn't qualify for a medical exemption.

I guess smarmy Zeke will have to settle for yet another straight up buy out.

What is this, his 5th or 6th? I lost track.

The New York Daily News reports that the Knicks are trying to negotiate a buyout of Maurice Taylor’s contract, which has one year and $9.8 million remaining.

Taylor was reportedly one of the players Larry Brown wanted to release last year, along with Nate Robinson, Jalen Rose and Jerome James.
