Stalin would be proud of this propaganda.

Wow, thanks for linking us to your own personal website. That may be the most biased and worst series of articles I ever had the displeasure of starting to read. Thanks for wasting a few minutes of my life so we could read fanfic about Isiah.

This is a plain awful source of misinformation. Half of what was written wasn't even true, and then when they give you choices, they either choose results that also aren't true or limit you to only choices that make Isiah look better. A site which claims that Isiah Thomas's "trading record is overwhelmingly positive" is on the brink of being one of the most ridiculous pieces of junk I've ever seen.

Look at what Isaiah started with and imagine we had those same players now. Kurt Thomas, Clarence Weatherspoon, Keith Van Horne, Allan Houston and Charlie Ward.

Then we might actually have a bad team rather than the 56-108 team we had the last two season!

People make that comparison, yet ignore the fact that Isiah has actually gotten worse results. The facts, thusfar, don't support your argument. Bad vs. really bad, hmm.

Let me get this straight

Solace - so, after you set aside your personal bias - if that is possible - and when you compare the skill sets, measurements, blend of experience/yoots and depth, you see a roster that is less encouarging than the one Isiah inherited?

"Half of what was written wasn't even true,"

Solace - the floor is open to your informed rebuttal. Which half are you referring to?

It isnt my own personal website. I had nothing to do with its being made in any way, shape or form. I found it on another messageboard. Nice try though. Your streak of 3212 posts with at least 1 lie or 1 insult remains intact.

to bad this is sports where success is measured in wins and losses.

Thats KNICK wins and losses. Maybe after 4 1/2 years we break the 40 win barrier. If we dont there will be plenty of excuses to go around. Never a shortage of those

I guess that counts one of Scott Laydens years.

Isiah has been here 3.5 seasons.

so then what he's referring to is maybe this season we'll crack that barrier, since isiah hasnt yet in his first 3.5 seasons.

You gotta break some eggs to make an omelette.

Now close your eyes and visualize the Knicks 2005 won-loss record with Kurt Thomas, Clarence Weatherspoon, Keith Van Horne, Allan Houston and Charlie Ward on the roster.

can you say the Philadephia 76ers of Fred Carter?

Yes, COSSUCKS is right because I'm the author of the articles.

Firstly, I am happy to come across any site dedicated to the Knicks as I discovered it to through backlinks to the COSELLOUT blog. Besides, like everyone else, I want the Knicks to win! So, first and foremost I would like to address Solace's comments. I take criticism very well as I want to find truth first and foremost. However, that criticism must have a foundation and be well thought out.

Solace: you write: "This is a plain awful source of misinformation. Half of what was written wasn't even true"

Can you demonstrare which statements aren't true? If so, i will be happy to clarify.

"A site which claims that Isiah Thomas's "trading record is overwhelmingly positive" is on the brink of being one of the most ridiculous pieces of junk I've ever seen."

Okay then, which one of these trades would you take back? Please be specific.

1) Keith Van Horn becomes David Lee and Mardy Collins (via draft picks obtained in interim Nazi Mohammed trade)
2) Dikembe Mutombo, O. Harrington, & F. Williams become Jamaal Crawford
3) Kurt Thomas becomes Quentin Richardson & Nate Robinson (via draft pick)
4) Antonio Davis becomes Renaldo Balkman (via draft pick acquired with Jalen Rose)

So exactly when can we expect to see this omelete? Perhaps we should adjourn, and come back in 5 years?
BTW, exactly what kind of omelete are we making? A winning season omelete? A first round playoffs exit omelete?

marv, I wanted to start off with the no brainers that are some of the greatest moves ever, but recive virtually no credit. It is essential for media to give credit that David Lee, Balkman, and Collins weren't just drafted, but were also traded for... for NOBODY. If you know of a newspaper that points this out, please show me.

Personally, i like both the Marbury and Curry trades. As far as Curry goes, you just can't pass up his low post game which should keep improving. i didn't include them because reasonable people could disagree and the jury is still out to some degree. I think that for now, critics can agree that they weren't BAD trades.

Hey I thought you did a fair job with that site. The name was even interesting. Be forewarned that there are about 8 hardcore Isiah/Knicks haters on this board that will have a hard time admitting Isiah has ever done anything right.
I personally do not even like Isiah but they go so overboard with their flat out hate I often find myself in a strange position of defending him

Now We're Cookin' With The Answer Man

Panos - So exactly when can we expect to see this omelete?

A. The ingredients are just starting to marinate, sit still until late Janauary.

Panos - Perhaps we should adjourn, and come back in 5 years?

A. The line will wind around the block by then. I suggest you hold your place in line.

Panos - BTW, exactly what kind of omelete are we making?

A. A Garden Omelette

I consider most Isiah haters media victims to tell you the truth. I can talk to haters as long as the discussion is on facts and not parroting blowhards like Mike Lupica.
