This is the top 13 from ESPN:

http://sports.espn.go.com/nbadraft/d03/index

1. Cavaliers LeBron James
2. Pistons (via Grizzlies) Darko Milicic
3. Nuggets Carmelo Anthony
4. Raptors T.J. Ford
5. Heat Chris Bosh
6. Clippers Chris Kaman
7. Bulls Mickael Pietrus
8. Bucks (via Hawks) Kirk Hinrich
9. Knicks Maciej Lampe
10. Wizards Luke Ridnour
11. Warriors Dwyane Wade
12. Sonics Mike Sweetney
13. Grizzlies (via Rockets) Pavel Podkolzin

Lampe with the 9th. I like it. Raw, a little untested, but with potential. Nice.

What are everyone else's top 9?

That list will change 100 times before the draft.

I think we have to bring in and evaluate Schortsianitis and Podkolzin because they're both big mysteries and big gambles. Our pick to fall back on should be Mike Sweetney though. We should take him if neither of the others seem up to par for the 9th pick. Then maybe we could trade for a mid-first rounder and get one of them.

Well I never saw Kaman play up until that little footage they showed of him last night. In my opinion you only need to see a guy bounce a ball a couple of times and you know he can play. I hope the Knicks get Kaman.

If Kaman is off the board, I would go with Maciej Lampe. I liek the European players.....if he's the typical mobile, sneaky type player, then the Knicks will be forced to change their game. That's a good thing.

By the way Milic(sp?) Is the the next white wonder....that kid has that "I'll eat your kids" look in his eye.

Sweetney is cool too....
But after you sweets you'll need some Maciej Lampe(sounds like coffee) to wash it down.

I'm not going to predict top 13...to many Euro players I don't know...but I will say this...

Raptors are not going to draft a PG. They need a Center or SF cuz Mo Pete ain't doing it.

With the emergence of J.Crawford, E.Curry, Chandler I really see the Bulls trading this (w/ J.Rose) for a future pick and veteran player (leadership)

Bucks have Cassell and prolly going to sign Payton..why would they draft another PG?? a 4 & 5 is what they need....

Wizards have Lue, Hughes and Dixon....They a need a PF. Sweetney maybe?

I see the Warriors going for a big man w/ some O to play the middle or maybe a PG in case they can't sign Arenas...

Personally I think we should move up[Kaman] or look to move the pick for someone like Stro Swift. If neither of these options are available --look to deal the pick to either Boston for 16 and 20 or Orlando @15 for an additional number 1 next year.

If my option was staying at 9 and I couldnt move

Ill stay in this order assuming bosh and the top 3 are gone
Kaman
Sweetney
Collison
Wade
Outlaw
West
Lang*
Lampe
If I move out to 16-20 Im going to offer my 20 to Denver for SF Rodney White since Carmelo became available to them. At 16 I would still be looking at my list to see if someone fell. *IF James Lang comes into these camps in serious shape and plays very well and dominates--if he measures 6-11 in sneakers and has his weight down to 290< that will be my wild card. I would conceivably take him at 9 over everyone but Kaman. BUt he has to be 6-11 285 and he has to show domination at Chicago and great workouts. I still see him as Eddie Curry 2 if he does indeed have his weight in check.

C'mon man - the Knicks will trade the pick for another broken down old veteran.
