I can't see how they keep him as president. Womens rights groups cannot permit him to continue. He might be a liability anyway by keeping as president.

Advertisers would be pressured to boycott if he was held.

Even exending to his role as coach might be questioned as being in bad taste.

The advertisers and those whom buy suites and tickets with Corporate money might not see Isiah as a good symbol for entertaining clients and employees.

The man found guilty of harrassment and obviously a jury did not believe him was also accused of saying he did not give a dam about "white ticket holders"! Might not have said it, but he is not credible.

He also said it was ok in some form to call a women a bitch.

Granted this may be a bit sensitive but we talking about not men, not basketball players, but the general public and Women ticketholders. Did anybody at MSG figure into this?

Nalod thinks dolan gave the extension as a loyalty bonus and a way to pay Isiah if they lost the trail.

Six coaches in 3.5 years.

the stupid thing is that Dolan gave Isiah an extension knowing full well the details of all of this trial.

gave him an extension. allowed him to trade for zach and his $63 mil. allowed him to make a trade WHILE the jury was deliberating.

Isiah can survive this by winning. One thing I think we dont take into account, is we are special kinds of fanatics. Some are ticketholders, some are not, but we obsess over every little detail involved in this franchise. There are many season ticket holders, who, while bothered by some of Isiah's remarks, are going to easily forgive him if the knicks come out kicking arse. I dont expect women's groups to protest him or anything like that, ABS may have won the case, but she was not terribly credible either.

But this is the beauty of this whole thing from a fan's perspective, Isiah has to win, the knicks have to play well.
There is going to be very little tolerance for losing amidst all of this other drama. If we ssuck now, with the talent we have and the bad taste left from this trial, Isiah ought to be, and I believe, will be gone. I'm hoping this turns into winning season, because Isiah will be under a tremendous amount of pressure this season.

All that drama Isiah and Dolan put LB thru by not releasing him earlier knowing they were gonna fire him. Embarrassing him by keeping him in the dark about his future , even allowing him to think he would be running training camp.

Having Chaney escorted from MSG by security and treating a HOF coach Lenny Wilkens like he came from the a ABL league.

Some call it Karma , some call it Fate, but IMHO the chickens have come ROOST !

Isiah I thought I knew you better than that!
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Man, I cannot believe whats going on at the garden these days! I know its a business and they are not sitting there talking about Top 5 centers of all time and what would happen if the Knicks signed Reggie instead of Houston but still, wtf!?!?! What a mother****ing disgrace.

WTF ISIAH?! Your trial is going to be a distraction to this team everytime they go on the road! They are going to be hounded by media for a reaction. If anything, this should have been taken care of discreetly. Its time for Isiah to go but I know he aint goin anywhere. Can he atleast win us some games. Can we get started with basketball already?

Dolan wont fire him over this. Dolan thinks he was being extorted.

Isiah will have to make the playoffs this year though

Dolan will probably finance Isiah's appeal. The only way anything happens is if Stern suspends Thomas from the NBA for a period of time. I also hope Stern steps in and bans Dolan for a period of time. Could Dolan's behavior be deemed worse than Marge Schott?
