I think its pretty clear that this entire harassment case has been mismanaged. In addition to that Zeke's track record with the team has been questionable at best. The Knicks as an organization have suffered tremendous blows to their credibility under the Thomas/Dolan regime and I think its time to get rid of Isiah.

Up to this point I have been taking a wait and see approach, but I really think it is time to move in a different direction. Unfortunately it appears Dolan is not capable of making a change nor using sound judgment when hiring a replacement.

It is really sad to see what has happened to the entire organization over the past decade, ever since Riley, JVG, and Ewing left things have been in a severe downward spiral that appears to have no end in sight.

I agree. Yet, I think there's a better chance of him getting another extension.

screw that, the problem here is james mother****ing dolan. what an absolute coward this guy is. hopefully stern pushing his weight around and forces dolan to sell the team.

don't you guys get it? from layden to isiah, it doesn't matter who is running the team. the captain of this ship is mr. james dolan, born on 3rd and thought he hit a triple. until he is gone, mediocrity will reign and the knicks will be america's pro sports franchise laughingstock.

It's too bad Dolan has a sexual man crush on Isiah.

Dolan is terrible. But he's not the only problem. Losing Isiah is a win. Losing Dolan would be a grand slam, but I'm not holding my breath.

Never happen. Dolan likes fighting windmills in the courts. He has more money to fight it than Stern has. Plus the owners would never allow that precedent and go after one of their own.

but who is dolan gonna bring in next? and at this point, what's he gonna do anyway, the knicks are screwed for the next 2 seasons cap-wise and player-wise. there is little to no roster flexibility, if anything, i'd rather have isiah stick around since he's the only guy that would make it work for the next 2 years.

get dolan outta here

Isiah's gotta go & he needs to take his poster child Marbury with him... what an embarassment.

If you bring in someone else you are correct that it's at least 2 years before they can do much -- perhaps 4 years to turn it all around. Every year you have Isiah here, though, he does a year of damage. We can't start going on the right path until we get off the wrong one.

But, face it, Isiah is staying and the wrong path will continue. Curry says we're winning the East. Marbury says we're winning it all. People like these *******s for some god forsaken reason.

Why would you want to keep the guy that put you in a position where you're "screwed" for the next 2 years (5 1/2 total)? If he hasn't made it work in 3 1/2 years and you think they're screwed for 2 more, what makes you think he can "make it work"?

AS LONG AS DOLAN OWNS THE KNICKS, WE'RE DOOMED FOR LIFE. IF ASSIAH GETS THE BOOT THEN THEY WILL BRING SOME OTHER IDIOT THAT WILL CAUSE MORE DAMAGE AND MAKE THINGS WORSE.

NO ONE WITH A WINNING TRACK RECORD WANTS TO WORK FOR DOLAN.

REMEMBER, HE MAKES ALL THE DECISIONS! I REALLY BELIEVE DOLAN IS WORSE THATN THE ORIOLES OWNER, PETER ANGELOS..

If dolan can be convinced he would come out looking good and make a smart decision if he hired a credible staff to run his affairs. This guy is over his head.

He reminds me of W.

No--we need to keep IT. This is an unfortunate situation but the JOES @ MSG stood together like a fraternity and firing IT would be like admitting guilt--and they won\'t do that. I think IT should have one more year here to proof it on the court. YES he would be FIRED in almost ANY other situation --almost any--but the business that Dolan has CANNOT be touched or influenced by any organization. People are going to MSG no matter what--people will have cable TV no matter what--people are going to go see the dancers no matter what--it\'s an unbreakable monopoly. So the reality is--IT has put together this group and lets let him roll with it. If RESULTS are BAD--than Dolan might step in.

Especially this one:

"The Garden, and two of its officials, are defendants in another sexual discrimination suit. In October 2004, Courtney Prince, a former captain of the Rangers' ice-skating cheerleaders, charged that she was harassed and then fired after she told other skaters that she had been solicited for sex by a public-relations manager for the team during a postgame encounter in a bar."

Is Dolan really dumb enough to let this one get to trial?

Or course this is probably not the last one. Anucha case is probably just the tip of the iceberg.

Yeah, I don't think Dolan is going to hire a proven winner who has a proven plan. That would mean relinquishing control. If he fires Isiah he's just going to bring in another GM that will have to find "creative" ways to build a team. I'm not happy with Isiah's plan but I almost feel that Isiah "getting it" is our best chance to build here. He's learning that the lazy vet route doesn't work. I'm not sure what the next leg of his plan will be, but I don't see things changing much under a new presidency

FYI: This is in no way an endorsement of Isiah or a condemnation. I think he is doing what he was told to do just like Layden. I pray for the day we have a proven winner at GM and coach who both know how to work together. On that day you will see a true future instead of a cloudy one.

Are there no female ticket holders to consider? Female Execs whom buy ad time at MSG?

I understand that Dolan is a complete moron but do you really think someone could do WORSE than Isiah?

All Knicks fans can hope is that Dolan lucks out and hires someone competent.

I am so sad the way that the Knicks are being managed, starting from Dolan, Thomas... New York fans deserve better.

It's a tough decision my friend:

1.) Fire Isiah and hope Dolan lucks out and hires someone competent
2.) Keep Isiah and hope that he figures out that proven winners are important and begins to distance himself from the lazy vets.
