Vandummy Lovers , will this plethera of knoweldge of a coach go to the cavs? He would mess that team up with his old fashion creep but don't run style. I hope and pray he takes that job to prove to the world he's only an assistant coach and n fair booth announcer. Bottom line THE GUYS IS 'OVERRATED.

... looks like the Knicks are going to let the Cavs off the hook as far as compensation is concerned.

I think it's sick that Silas name is being mentioned simply to circumvent to NBA's minority hiring directive. It's humiliating and Silas deserves better.

I think silas is a better fit with Cleveland than gundy. Gundy has to prove if he is good with young pups.

walking away from the game grew van gundy's legend


i can't believe he has lebron
all those years as a fan and now i'm the anti-knick. life is crazy aint it.

Ice the only fit vandummy had was with the knicks , it amazes me how you guys give him credit forbeing a "GREAT" coach keeping the same system previous coach had+ with owner spending madd jack on players (even though some were over paid) and he never won a title.Gundy couldn't coach a AAU vs a TEAM AGAINST ME YOU AND THE OLD NYDAILYNEWS FORUM CREW. HE IS OVERHYPED MORE NOW THAT HE HAS A MIC IN FRONT OF HIS GRILL.

prod, I would say passing Crack, Hydro and Johnny Walker Red around in practice is too free spirited. So Lucas had to go, but i think silas would be better with young guys than gundy.

Notice how every one in the knicks franchise from layden down is a castoff from some where else. Even the one guy we have drafted thats still withthe team WARD is a castoff of another sport.

Bobby, you're the 1st person who stated just what surrounds vandunce. With so many vacancies he has to land a job. But for 7 mil? To me he's trying not to get hired, he will get exposed if he goes for the norm 5 million , because teams aren't giving non teachers of the game 7 mil unless he has Championship Titles under his belt.

Wrong again Meathead. Don Nelson has won nothing and neither has Larry Brown. What are they going to get? Please. VD will get 4-5 per year. Why? He is a winner. He will teach the young guys how to play just like Hubie is doing in Memphis. JVG has forgotten more about basketball than you will ever know!
