Like if our team goes undefeated is the Larry O'Brien Shiny Thing ours?

If Nate drops 40 in one these games do we scratch the idea of trading him for Artest but instead pull the trigger on trading him for Kobe straight up?

If Jared plays and drops 10-12dimes and 15-18ast does Steve Nash lose sleep over winning the MVP trophy?

If Morris Almond makes more 3's than Chandler and Nichols combined while playing 1/3 less minutes than them combined, do we still have the best shooters from the draft?

If Randolph averages less blocks than Jerome James while James manages to foul out of every single pre-season game totaling 6min of play do we have anything to worry about in the paint defensively?

If The Cavs go 1-6 in PreSeason like they did last yr and the Spurs go 2-3 like last yr and 2-7 the yr before winning 63 regular season games that yr, both going to the Finals last yr and they both happen to make it very far this yr does Tanking put on different mask? Forget doing it in the Regular Season just do it in PreSeason?

If I SAY UGH make some trades during a game at halftime that bumps our roster up to 20men should anybody on the team feel their spot isn't safe?

It matters when we can evaluate on the "style" of play isiah will bring to training camp.

Will he go back and do what he said he would do at the beginning of last yrs camp, UCLA back door , the win one for Hoosiers fast break etc...LOL
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Excuse me 10-12 dimes and 15-18 assists? If you know anything about basketball you would know that this is impossible...........Only Marbs could put up numbers like this.

Everytime guys step on the court it matters or should matter. What happens in preseason won't determine the rest of the season, but the season IMO starts in training camp and continues until the last game. Our players need to adopt an every game matters attitude and hit camp hard and preseason hard and develop a tough style of play and mentality.

It's gonna be important for this team to develop some chemistry with Zach in this offense and for Isiah to test out some things with Zach and Curry at the heart of our attack. Whether they win any preseason games isn't that important. I want them to win any time they're on the court, but more important is getting things right for the real season.

It can be important or not (it's up to Isiah)
But it will be entertaining. And this is all we want. Right?

nixluva, please don't use the words "Curry" "heart" and "attack in the same sentence.
Thank you.

How we play matters. Wins and losses do not. It will be important to see if guys come to camp in shape. It will be important to see how our frontcourt meshes together and whether our backcourt enhances them or inhibits them. All this will give us a pretty good idea as to how we will start the season. The overall numbers and the record are not important.

Early Reports from the Garden is EY CURRY has lost 5lbs from season ending playing weight and Jerome James is 15-20lbs heavier. There is no definite confirmation but LOL @ both if this is true. Curry blew up a tad towards the end of the season so him losing 5lbs is addition by subtraction. If true "Q we can now hang on to every word you say about EY from here on out."

Given recent history, I think the best thing would be for the Knicks to lose all the preseason games.

Early Reports from the Garden is EY CURRY has lost 5lbs from season ending playing weight .

Some poster over at RealGm who has been reliable in the past. That's why I said "no definite confirmation."

I'm not going to be negative about anything. I'm just going to assume that our players have put in similar work this offseason as they have in the past. Take that as you wish.

In other words, the most exercise they got was playing the Nintendo Wii?

comeon true!!!
The did all they can.
They was playing against 3 stars for god sake...
It's not fair to degrade a bunch of role players for the stuff they cannot do.
And they bit Phily and Maccaby... They can play against other scrubs very well.
