I know that the team with the worst record hasn't won the first pick since colman but their chances are greater and they still pick very high and that is why I am upset.. Cleveland for christ sakes!!!

I mean this was so predictable!!! when you have a 1.5% chance of winning the lottery and another team has a 22% chance to win, it is almost impossible to win the lottery.. Cleveland does not deserve the pick, they did everything they can to ensure they would have a bad season, so they could get the top pick!!! The lottery was supposed to eliminate that, I hate to say this and I know it is hating, but I hope Lebron is a damn Bust, so that teams will stop tanking their season to win the pick....

This sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It had nothing to do with Cleveland doing everything possible to have a bad season. Denver tried even harder to suck more, and they only got the 3rd pick. I saw like 4 or 5 games that the Raptors "rigged" (Jerome Williams for a 3 at the buzzer?!?!)

If we believe the "rigged lottery" theory, two factors led to Bron going to Cleveland.
1) This helps to slowly even out the East and West (See: Detroit)
2) Cleveland has bad attendance. LeBron is from Cleveland. Hello.
go knicks!

not really, cleveland, traded away their best player for a player in miles who was not ready to step in and put up the numbers yet, they traded every veteran they had with the hopes of tanking the season, I believe the nuggets played hard and kiki is trying to win with that team, I mean denver started out better than the knicks did record wise, they tried to win!!! The cavs were on a mission to lose....

Lebron being from cleveland which is a small market team does not help the NBA or the east, cleveland is the worst place for this kid, if anything I would have rather seen a team like the Hawks get him...

Cleveland is a Joke!!

Wasn't Miller going to leave Cleveland anyway? I'm not sure on the specifics, but I thought it was a "Payton" deal, where they tried to get something instead of nothing. And while I'm not a DMiles fan, even I can admit that Miles grossly underachieved this year. I didn't think he'd be spectacular, but I didn't expect him to get worse after leaving the Clip Show. That was just a tough trade for both sides. And yeah, they let to veterans go, but that was to establish that the team was rebuilding and going young more, a-la-Not-the-Knicks. Why have Miller, Person, and Murray when you can have Davis, Miles and Wagner?

And c'mon now! The Nuggets looked like arguably the worst team in NBA History at the beginning of the season. I honestly wouldn't have been surprised to see them in the single digit win column at the end of the season. Yeah, they had a better start than the Knicks, but it's not too hard to be better than 1-8.

LeBron being from Cleveland comepletely changes the outlook of that franchise. He's a homegrown hero. Believe it or not, him not being in the West does help the East in the long run, regardless of how good you think he'll be. Again I'm not a Cleveland fan, but I just don't see how it's a bad situation for LeBron, especially if the Cavs sign JVG or Silas. He'll be home, the Cavs will be on the map, and Cleveland will be able to love basketball again.

Just my point of view...
go knicks!

I wish I was a Piston fan.....everyone can pencil them in for the 2004 Championship now.....

It's gonna suck seeing C.Anthony in a Denver uniform.

Good points but outside of getting rid of their veterans they had no intention of signing Miller, he wanted to stay in cleveland, cleveland made him feel unwanted. Then cleveland turned down a deal to get odom and another player and later settled for the miles deal, and why? because Odom would be a FA sooner and demand money, yet odom was a player that could help cleveland now... those cats do not want to win, this was premeditated.

I will say this, getting lebron is good for cleveland, the sad part is developing young players without any good established veterans is hard, they now have a team of guys who need and want to shoot, lebron no doubt will fill the arenas but this was clevelands plan all along to tank the season.. For that I hope Lebron is a bust... The NBA does not need teams tanking seasons purposely!! not good for the game...

As far as the nuggets, they were trying to win, but they are as young as cleveland, I watched a lot of their games on satellite and I tell you those guys played hard , kiki has a good thing going on there and with a top 3 pick they are in good shape...
