Either no one cares or no one wishes to discuss, but Pres/GM/Coach Isiah Thomas is likely to miss the start of training camp and media day. Looks like Herbie will open camp (Chris Mannix from SI said this on SNY last night and see below as well)

From Bermanbury's blog:
The jury deliberations will spill into Monday on the sexual harassment suit, meaning Thomas will likely miss Media Day and perhaps the flight to Charleston. Can you say embarrassing? At this point, it doesn't matter if he wins or loses, the jury obviously found lots of merit in Anucha's claim, judging by the stuff they requested Friday.

Queenie That is a very important fact you posted. Hopefully the jury has a verdict fast so Isiah can get this team ready for the season and playoffs.

The only serious issue is if he has to miss camp altogether. Other than that, i'm not that worried. His staff knows what to do. They'd be helping to run most of the drills and things anyway. I just hope the jury renders their decision quickly.

So if Isiah has to miss a day or two of training camp, which is the likely scenario, are people going to use that as an excuse later in the year?

And also before they started to play teams over .500 after a ridiculously soft schedule. And before other teams in the east got better.
