I think Rodney Stuckey of the Pistons will make the most impact.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

I think Mike Conley.
He is in a very good position at Grizzlies, and he has talent and skills.

rodney stuckey could be an impact player off the bench for the pistons

Greg Oden's going to get an impacted tooth and miss 4-6 weeks.

Durant might put up big numbers, but defenses will be zeroed in on him.

I think Marco Belinelli has walked into easiest situation for success. He's essentially walked into Jason Richardson's old job in a free wheeling offense, and by all accounts, he's a better shooter.

Morris Almond has an interesting opportunity - with Derek Fisher gone, there's an opening there too (tho it's tough to believe that a rookie w/ questionable defense will make it under Sloan).

My sleeper pick is Big Baby Davis... who could develop into a Boozer-type a few years down the road. He's solid in the post and is very athletic despite his girth. If he's able to establish himself as the Oakley-like enforcer next to Garnett, I can see him averaging close to a double-double. I'm thinking of something along the lines of a Danny Fortson, but a better offensive player.

It's a guessing game at this point, but my guess is Al Horford. He looked like an nba ready player to me and fits Atlanta's needs for a good inside big man. I think he wins the starting job early on and puts up respectable numbers.

If Oden doesn't play and the Blazers get the #1 pick again he should get ROY just for that. Then next year Most Improved.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Joakim Noah. Chicago loves to let New Yorkers loose, especially against New York teams.
I'll never trust this' team again.

RODNEY STUCKEY - Guard, Pistons

Oden, Durant and Horford were all sexier names on draft night. But league executives were united in their affinity for Stuckey, who is already being compared to a cross between Baron Davis and Dwyane Wade. He'll have a similar dilemma to Horford's in that he'll play off the bench for Detroit, behind Chauncey Billups and Rip Hamilton.

I'm a little surprised nobody picked Corey Brewer. He's one skinny mofo, but I like his overall game and if he adds on bulk, he can really make an impact I think. Not sure if he did this summer though.

I think Durant and Brewer will both be fine as long as they don't "Shaun Livingston" themselves.
