If you had the opportunity to make a competitive team of random players that were NEVER voted as allstars and never appeared on the Three pt. contest or dunk contest, who would your starting 5 consist of ? Let's see how good you guys are as GMs.

No all stars yes. No contests at all would be tough.

If it was just no all stars I would go with:

Curry at Center
Okafor at PF
Deng at SF
Gordon at SG
Deron Williams at PG
Dlee as 6th man

This is damned near impossible because of the Rookie/Sophomore game. Anyway, here's my crack at it:

PG: Mo Williams
SG: Raja Bell
SF: Anthohny Parker
PF: Chris Wilcox
C: LaMarcus Aldridge

Bench: Jarret Jack, Josh Childress, Luis Scola

I'd like to point out I avoided taking Kevin Durant, Al Horford, Mike Conley Jr, etc. in building this team, because that is an obvious loophole

I removed Gerald Wallace because he participated in the dunk contest

D'OH I forgot about that.

Half the guys on the rosters above were in the Rookie/Soph game. Not technically in the rules, but the rosters of that game are full of guys who are believed to be headed for stardon.

Gerald Wallace is a good choice that I didnt even think of. Looks like a lot of very good players have not got the ultimate recognition yet.

rather than making a team without former all stars- what about instead making a competitive team up with players that won't likely be all stars.
