that is why it is so important to understand finance as a pro athlete, knowledge is power, especially in this case..

1.5 to manage his assets is actually not that high, so long as they are not charging him commisions on top of that.

Borrowing from clients is a big no no. Borrowing without permission is stealing. Stealing with interest.

These Athletes need to go with trust companies or NY wirehouse guys with good reps. The big firms really police themselves and have big deep pockets when one of their boys mess up.

MOst of the time these young guys really need to pay attention to their money. ITS THEIR MONEY!

I don't know how these athletes do it. When my son was a toddler he once grabbed my wallet and stuck it in his mouth. I biotch slapped him into next week. The only reason I apologized is because my wallet was empty at the time.

I watch every penny I spend. I have no idea how these athletes put so much trust into their advisors.
