Marc Berman is the first to do a meaningless article about "Baby Shaq". Berman is an idiot and he doesn't have a clue to what he's talking about whether it's about trade rumors or draft considerations.

We'll be stressed out the whole off-season with a bunch of meaningless babble.....much like the stuff we write but they get paid for it.


Frank Isola is trying to be Mark Berman.
Mark Berman is trying to be Peter Vecey.
Mithc Lawrence si trying to be Mike Lupica.
Mike Lupica is trying to be Bob Costas.

Do I have it down fellas or what?

When are they gonna write something worth the space?

i have to say that for the most part, you are correct.........but personally i think lupica is a good writer with at least a bit of clss and he rarely reports on things that are based just on hersay........unlike the clowns at the post. vecey, lawrence and berman are all idiots!!! (smiley faces are for pike!)

You know what EnySpree? Say what you will about the press... the fact is, articles about the Knicks are few and far between. The day of the lottery and you can barely find the Knicks in the sports section.

In the immortal words of Sonny in "A Bronx Tale"... "nobody cares". Apathy has set in as we live and breathe in the NBA abyss.

Scott Layden has killed this franchise.

Dolan's a clueless owner. He can be blamed for allowing Layden to ruin the franchise. If he ordered Layden to not utilize medical and other mid cap exemptions, to avoid the luxury tax... he can be blamed for this too.

That being said, Layden's the architect... he made all the well documented horrendous personnel moves as he mismanaged the salary cap like no other since its inception. I think after all this he's finally learned not to trade one ****ty contract for a longer term, ****ty contract... but, it's too late. Bomb already went off, damage done... unless he compounds the trouble, which is likely... we're dead until after the 2007 season.

Actually the Knicks are dead past 2007, as Layden signed a contract extension. He is the GM until 2008!

playa i haven't read a berman,vecsey mushnick or lupica article in years. so maybe you read it and recite there words like you found the 10 commandments but i dont......i will read Aldrige,and Slam they have integrity. and the reporter from Philly. i thought the sportas reporter guy had class as well the guy that passed away recently.Again i read there stuff, but i formulate my own opinion.

I believe that Scott LayDown will be gone by this time next year...mark my words.

Dolan will have to find another scapegoat to heap the team's failures on. Fact is, Dolan selling the Knicks (, Rangers and MSG) would be a blessing.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!
