Cool insight. Video's after the link.

Rudolph: Jarrod vs Jared
Be a pro!

That phrase is drummed into the head of every person that enters The Pro Training Center at IMG Academy gym. Not only the players, but also the trainers and coaches are required to bring the highest level of effort into the gym. Think like a pro, work like a pro, and act like a pro. If you’re going to work with the staff at The Pro Training Center there is no other way to get to the next level.

That was the biggest lesson I learned during my time working with the guys. There is a mentality, a confidence, and a preparation that far surpasses the belief that I can do what the pros do. I’m not alone in that belief. Several people who have enjoyed a few good games at the park or in a church league think their meaningless game can easily translate into success at the highest level. They also believe this makes them experts on the NBA game.

That was interesting.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

That was indeed a good article. A lot of pro athletes are like that, they have to be but we also know that there are many who are lazy and get away with it. It's easy for us fans to demand more without always knowing that "more" for some players isn't attainable. Curry looks as if he could own the NBA if he wants to, the question is "does he want to?" We hear about how hard JJ2 is working but will it translate to the court? What's wrong with all sports is you're paid before you produce, therefore a lot of guys don't give that extra effort. If it was the other way around like it is for the rest of the world, you'd probably see more effort to EARN their pay.

Normally when I critique players I don't compare them to me or anyone on this site. I compare their work ethic and abilities to other NBA players like them.
I just hope that people will like me

The problem is that our players suck and they are bums.

Except when you said Tim Hardaway plays like you?
