This guy has really lost his mind at age 43
MJ is my best friend. He respects me as a friend (regardless) of what I want to do. He says, "If they going to pay you, you come back. If they're not going to pay you, don't." I'm not going to come back for no veteran's minimum. I'm coming back for a good salary. You can't buy me. Money can't buy me. But I'm not coming back for no bull---- money.

OK then, what is not "bull---- money"?

At least two years, $10 million. Nine or 10 million. I'm not coming back for a million and five. My value is worth more than that.

That's a lot of money, Oak. Is this comeback about money?

It's not about money. Money is a part of the comeback, but you can't buy me. It's something I'd be happy with, but I can get you more than what you paid for. I'll give you three-times your money
.

Boy, we talk about freaking clubhouse cancers? Why doesn't Oakley look right under his nose. Whether we want to believe it or not, Michael Jordan is becoming more and more of a douchebag, as we see it. How money changes our face.

This kind of talk is pathetic. It's amazing how spoiled top athletes are. I don't know how Oakley can make those comments AND say with a straight face that it's not about money.

It makes no difference they all are money hungry and so are the owners and refs.

SAD! and that's why none of these athletes will be taken seriously. Pippen's comeback was rumored to be centered around money also.

I guess. Every once in a while you see a guy take a pay cut to play for a winning team or to play for his current team (the "home town discount"), which is a nice concept.

This is funny stuff I can't believe half you guys fall for this I'm making a comeback BS. Oakley knows he is done he is just looking to swindle some franchise into giving him money. Oh by the way he ain't good anymore. He was unathletic in the past and he is even more unathletic now. He got by on intimidation in the past it was great but these young players today have no problem putting the smack down on the Oakman hell he is an old man. Its funny how these old guys talk like they are still good man if they were still good they wouldn't have retired in the first place.

I hope some team in our division wastes $5 million of their cap space on him. I loved his game when he was with us, but that was a long time ago. He won't even be a good back-up now.

Oakley is probably in his mid age crisis. There is something about a man after he turns 40 years old. All those man Vs. Boy mentalities are rocket boosted because, in reality, it is more of old man vs. young man. Face it, nobody will take him seriously, but he doesn't care and it's free in helping to sell his book.

Doesn't he understand that he will get what people pay him?

Knicksfanssince73: I disagree about the mid age crisis thing. I think the young cats are just as likely to beg for money as the old guys are.
I just hope that people will like me

MJ has always been a douchebag, he just had the entire league working to protect and correct his image. He doesnt have that anymore.
